Ohanas Menu

Ahhh, my exclusion of the noodles. Not my fave you see, but loved by every other member of the fam. Simply a mistake, an unintentional omission, if you will. You surely can see that.

You do understand that the "you have no taste...puke inducing..." comments were in jest? We all get our opinions around here. I have just (personally) never understood the love of such a mediocre, pedantic version of a well loved American dish.:dance3:

Yes, Peter Pirate 2, I did indeed know, and even appreciate, that you were in full jest mode.

Note my lavish use of this guy::rotfl2:

I actually enjoy this sort of thing, but my usualy buddy, my brother, has not been in the mood for goofy tom-foolery.

Laughter is good for the soul.:lmao:

Just back yesterday and we had an ADR for Ohanas. Yes, potstickers still exist and I enjoyed them very much. I also enjoyed the noodles!!!!!! Actually I loved the noodles, even when they were cold. Call me strange I guess. The meal included bread, salad, wings, potstickers, brocolli stuff, beef, chicken, shrimp. I didn't have pork and I suppose it was offered but I can't remember for sure. Sorry!!!!! I have to say it was less than thrilling this time. We arrived early for our 7:10 ADR and were seated at least 30 minutes later. No biggie really. We enjoyed a drink at the bar. Our party of two ran into the chef on our way in and we asked if the shrimp had a spicy rub on it and he said yes. We asked if one of us could request for it to be plain and he said yes just to ask our server. We did and after the meal was OVER our server said it would be out soon! The chef personally delivered the 5 skewers of shrimp to our table to my friend. He apologized over and over and let us know our server had forgotten to tell him of the request but he remembered us asking. Bread pudding was ok. I thought it was usually served warmer than it was this time as it was hardly luke warm. We were very disappointed in our meal. Oh well. We were full and what's not to complain about that. I'll skip Ohana and venture over to Kona the next time maybe! :)

The noodles and broccoli are my kids favorite part of the meal! (Guess the broccoli part should be the first sign my kids are wierd! :rotfl2:) Potstickers/wing is mine! The only meat eater is my husband. I was worried about keeping our ADR after seeing the changed menu at allears. So glad to know that its not right!
