Ohana's Fireworks Question?

We have an ADR for Dec 29th at 8:20 for dinner at Ohana's. Fireworks at at 9pm that night. I just read that you can sometimes see fireworks while at Ohana or walk to the beach and see them. Should I move our ADR time up? and if so how far up?

I don't think you should move your ADR. My experience with Ohana has been that they usually made us wait at least 20 minutes past our ADR to get seated. Even if they seat you right on time, you'll still be at your table for the fireworks. They pipe in the music from Wishes and dim the lights. If you make your ADR any later, you may miss this experience all together. Have a great time!

I might try to move it up to 7:30 if that is possible for you. That way you can ask for a window seat which might take longer if you don't mind waiting. I would say that a lot of the time people will try to linger over dinner when it is time for wishes which might put you waiting past 9.

Are there limited window seats? How is the restaurant laid out? What if I make a late reservation, but do not get a window seat to see, Or can the majority of diners see?

Our ADR is for 7/24 at 8:30 and Wishes is at 10. Originally, I was thinking of going to the beach to watch the fireworks. Based on what I've read, our timing would actually be good to watch them from the restaurant. Really? That would be great too! How hard would it be to get a window seat?

We did this last August by accident...had a 9:30 ADR, fireworks were at 10. We were right by the window and it was delightful to see! I'd say keep your ADR and request that table seat.
