Was able to book Ohana's Character Breakfast for our upcoming November trip to WDW. Just looking for some reviews on it, as we are staying off site, so obviously not on the dining plan. Trying to be choosey with which meals we book, as money IS an option! lol

How is the food? What do they actually serve? What characters (besides Lilo and Stitch) are present?

Is it good for kids aged 5, 14, and 16?

Thanks!

This is one of our faves! They bring out the hot foods (eggs, bacon, sausage, etc) and fresh fruits family style. The pineapple bread is fantastic. Mickey and Pluto are also there.

Mine were about that age when we went. They had a great time =} Food was good and everyone found something they liked so I would do it again in a heartbeat.

If I were being picky and choosy about the character meals, this is one of the ones I would choose. You get the characters and a great breakfast without the chaos of a buffet!

Ohana is our favorite character breakfast!!

They first bring out bread, which is absolutely amazing! I would consider a breakfast "dessert" as it's pretty sweet! They serve juice as well, which is very good! The food consists of bacon, sausage, eggs, assorted fruit (that was so yummy!) & Mickey waffles. In my opinion, the Mickey waffles were the best i've had at a character meal!

Character interaction was good! Besides Lilo & Stitch, Mickey & Pluto are also there. I loved seeing Mickey in his tropical outfit ;)

It's one of our favorite meals and is a family tradition (no matter how old I am!). We absolutely love it. I'm 22 and my little cousin was 6 when we took him last year - we all loved it!

We have never been to Disney without having breakfast with Stitch. Absolutely my favorite. The food is great and they keep bringing it until you holler stop. Kids have a lot of fun with the characters and they have a parade around the restaurant. Second and third favorites are Akershaus in Epcot and Cape May Café at the Beach Club.

Our Ratings of Ohana Breakfast: (rev 7/16/2013)
. . . food price value: C
. . . food quality: C
. . . food quantity per serving: A
. . . food prep speed: B
. . . food selection: B
. . . seating quantity: B
. . . seating comfort: C
. . . eatery atmosphere: C
. . . eatery convenience: B
. . . staff friendliness: B
. . . staff attentiveness: D
. . . character interaction: B (Breakfast)

NOTE1: Used to be highly rated. However, the food has
deteriorated over the past year, and it is tough to hurt
eggs. Additionally, the service can be spotty. For food
quality & service, select another restaurant. The kids
will have fun at the eatery, but it certainly is not on
our list of eateries. It's too loud, too lax in service, too
low in food quality. That's too bad. Ohana's character
breakfast has Lilo/Stitch, Mickey/Pluto, and a photo-op
for Mickey and Pluto. It's about $25 per adult and about
$15 per child, so not unreasonable at WDW for scrambled
eggs, potatoes, pastries, sausage links, bacon, waffles,
and fruit. All-in-all, not a bad deal or choice.
