I just made a ps for Ohana on Dec. 12 at 5:30 pm, is there a chance we will see wishes with a ps at this time? I'm not sure what time wishes starts in December so I just took a chance.

I believe that is a MVMCP night. Having never attended this before I dont know when the fireworks are. I believe they do have them, but I would guess they would be much later since the party starts at 7:00.
Also, dont forget not every seat in Ohana has a view. We have eaten there twice and been nowhere near a window. I wouldnt go to Ohana planning to see fireworks, however do plan on a delicious meal and a lot of fun. :D

5:30 is early. I would wait and see what times the fireworks will be and then plan on eating at O'Hana's and then going down to the beach to watch the fireworks. That's what we did and it was great!

I'd warn against even requesting a window seat. We were seated in the center of the dining room and could turn and see the fireworks over the castle.

The poor people sitting at the window seats were swarmed by children from the entire restaurant squeezing in for a look. I remember thinking that if I were sitting in those seats, having planned a romantic moment, I'd be pretty peeved.

I expected the staff to shoo them away. They didn't.

If this is a MVMCP night the fireworks will be at 9:15. Also, I do not think they pipe in the music on nights of the Halloween Party and Christmas Party. As far as a window seat goes, we did this twice last year and did not have kids swarming all over us (we were 5 adults). We were there in October and December (Christmas week).

This is a great view of Wishes but the music and naration really add to the view.

Thanks everyone for the info, this is where my son wanted to eat for his birthday so we werent going there for the fireworks (just for the good food). I thought it would be a nice surprise if we were there during Wishes but I'm not even going to mention it to my family that way there is no expectations. It sounds like Wishes will be later that night anyway, I wasnt even thinking about it being MVMCP that night. I appreciate everyone's help.
