Has anyone ever celebrated their birthday at Ohana's? I was just wondering if they do anything special for birthdays, this is where my son (turning 14) wants to have his birthday meal. One more birthday question, our trip is Dec. 12-18 and his birthday is actually Dec. 21, has anyone else ever celebrated their birthday a little early? I didnt know if it seemed strange to walk around wearing a birthday badge and having birthday celebrations when the birthday is actually several days away?

Can't really help you with the restaurant info - I'm still trying to make a solid decision on our dd's 9th b'day.
But, I don't see anything wrong with celebrating a few days early!

We went here last year for my birthday. The CM didn't do anything special even though my DH reminded him and it was on our PS.

I don't think celebrating your birthday a few days early is a big deal. My DS seems to celebrate his for a whole week between school, church group, etc. We were there last year for my DS's birthday. Since we were at 2 parks on the actual day, he has the buttons from both MK and MGM. The day before we were at Biergarten in Epcot and concierage had noted his birthday on the PS. The restaurant did a great job of making him feel special. My DH explained that his birthday wasn't until the next day. The waitress said that they would just start the celebration early for him!

We celebrated our anniversary last year at Ohana and they brought out a very large cupcake and announced to everyone that we were celebrating. I assume that it would be the same for a birthday. We mentioned our anniversary when we made the PS, and then again when we checked in for our table. Hope it works out for you! :teeth:

Thanks everyone! I feel better knowing that others celebrate a little early too. Ohana's is where he really wants to go so I think we are going to stick with it. My daughter will also be celebrating her 9th birthday while we are there (the 16th) and her choice of dinners is 1900 Park Fare, I just wanted my son to have a chance to celebrate his b-day (even though early) too. How often do you get a chance to celebrate at WDW! They are both excited!
