Hi, I have been to Ohana a few times,we enjoy the food. But I prefer to be near a window. The last time we were sat in a very dark area(not near any windows) and I REALLY did not enjoy our visit there. Can I ask for a window view when making an ADR?? I am NOT looking to view the fireworks the night that we dine there.(we are headed into the MK after dinner).I also would like to dine early that night, like as soon as they open for dinner. If I cannot get an early ADR,can I arrive before opening at the restaurant and put my name in?? Thanks for any help with this! Joan

They won't note it on your reservation, but you can show up early and offer to wait. If it's not firework time, it won't be too much of a wait. Just make the ADR and show up 30 minutes prior to that time. Tell them you are willing to wait for the window. They should be able to accomodate you.

If you can't get an ADR when you call, it's best to call that morning and make one. They do fill up and have been known to turn people away. It happened when I was there in December. So try to get that ADR.

Thanks tjmouse! I will follow your instructions! Joan

We did that in September. From reading all the great tips on the dis, I knew to ask for a seat near a window and the pit. We were seated about 5 minutes after our reservation time, and were able to see the fireworks!
