Ohana Twilight Feast

Best. Idea. Ever. For those who are at the Poly! Can I get a sense from those who have ordered it about portion size? Will two adult portions be enough for two adults and two kids? Can we get away with one adult and one child portion? Can we sub out the shrimp for a double helping of one of the other meats?

I am following for info on this. my kids won't eat it so I am wondering if my husband and I could share one adult order since he won't eat the broccoli or salad and I won't eat the shrimp. I would order my kids something else from room service.

We ordered it over Labor Day weekend. The portion size was huge. We ordered for 2 adults to feed 2 adults and 2 kids, but our kids really just picked at it and ate mostly the bread. We could have fed at least another adult or 2. We had leftovers for lunch the next day. We did not ask for any substitutions so I can't comment on that. I think DH and I could have shared 1 adult order, but it really depends on people's appetites. Everything was fresh and we would definitely order it again if staying at the Poly!

What is this? Ohana room service? How much? My DH has never wanted to try Ohana for dinner... We stay at the poly, so this may be my chance!

Look at the Allears menu. It's so cool-- the Ohana meal brought to your room (plus the yummy juice from breakfast!). It's $40/ adult and $20/ child, but you don't have to order for everyone in your party, as you would at the restaurant. I think we may grab the kids a pizza or something to bring back to the room and order one adult portion, as the ONLY thing they like is the steak. Hopefully we can sub out the shrimp-- I will report back.

Forgot to mention there is a $3 delivery fee and 18% gratuity added for room servic! but it's still a good bit less than feeding our whole family at Ohana. Plus I can stop stressing about the fact that there are NO ADR's available
