What’s for Dinner Tonight?

We had a small Superbowl party with our two sons and my sister in law. I made chicken wings, buffalo chicken zucchini skins, ground turkey pepper nachos, guacamole, feta dip, mozzarella sticks, pigs in a blanket, and eggplant pizzas. My SIL brought fresh fruit and chocolate chip cookies. I also made our annual "superbowl cake". It's a chocolate chip bundt cake. Tonight our oldest is still home so we're having crumb coated chicken thighs, zucchini and roasted potatoes.

Tonight was clean out the veggie drawer night so I made chicken pot pie with rice.

@tarheelmjfan how did you prep the turkey for the crockpot? I have one in the freezer I’d like to use. I normally mix a can of cranberries with a jar of orange marmalade then pour over the turkey in the crockpot. I’d love to mix it up.
I did prep it, but now I'm wishing I'd asked for suggestions. I used this recipe https://www.thecountrycook.net/crock-pot-turkey-breast/ & added some chicken broth. We eat late, so I'll have to get back to you on how it turned out.

I'm happy to report that the turkey was very moist & flavorful. I'm not a big fan of white meat, because I think it's dry, but this proved me wrong. I'm glad I added the broth to the recipe I posted, but I don't know how it would have turned out without it. I'll definitely make it again.

Had a long weekend off to go to visit family in Philly over the weekend. Was there Thursday until Sunday, (My very best friend's mom passed away and I went there for her funeral). I had Soup and salad from Wawa Thursday night at the hotel by myself, Friday for dinner I had a chicken cheese steak at my Dad's, (ordered delivery). Hadn't had one of those in a while.

Last night I worked my usual Monday double shift (3p till 7:30a) and I had some snacky type things and got too busy to eat the mac and cheese that I brought for my dinner. I ended up eating a bowl of cereal at about 4am (Honey Nut Cheerios). I went home, got home at about 9:30 and I found that I had brought some Keys home from work (ugh! :faint:) I had to go back to return them (it was the Master key and the Central supply key) but I wasn't about to do that at that time, I would have definitely been asleep at the wheel, LOL. I went there at about 6pm. Afterwards I went grocery shopping at Wegman's and got some Italian Wedding Soup and a California Roll for myself for dinner and a Sub for the hubby.
