'Ohana the same for Breakfast & Dinner?

We are having breakfast at 'Ohana and I would really love to try dinner there as well. Is the experience the same for the kids? I know there aren't characters for the dinner --but wondered if they do the coconut races at both meals and the same activities. Debating whether or not to wait and do dinner there on a 2nd trip.

We ate there in December 07 and they had the lady walking around singing, the coconut races and dancing. It was really lively and fun!!

Breakfast and dinner are very different. Breakfast is a character meal, and dinner has the singing lady and the the coconut races (and the better food, IMO).

Do they do the coconut races at breakfast as well? We will for sure do the breakfast, b/c of the characters. The menu for dinner looks so good--but didn't want the same entertainment twice.

No, at breakfast they only have the characters. They will be completely different experiences.

The kids have a little parade (with noisemakers) with the characters at breakfast similar to a lot of other character meals.

Would you eat there twice during a trip? (breakfast & dinner) --this is our first time to WDW so we are trying a lot of different places.
