Ohana shrimp

fwiw, we had old style shrimp on skewer at Ohana tonight (also newer style peel and eat). I don't know if it is for holidays only or not - we paid "seasonal pricing" - $32 adult, $14.99 child - didn't know that till bill came. lots of higher prices now actually. oh and old style banana bread but new style desert and potato, no old wontons.

What do you mean by old style banana bread, but new dessert? Did you ask if these were permanent changes?

I hope that the Shrimp on the sticks are there for good?
I would love to try O'hana Dinner but I can only eat Seafood
(have allergies to Beef, Pork, Chicken)
I would really love to know if this was just a special Chrismas Menu
or will it be Permanate also? Anyone know?

When we were at the Food & Wine Festival, we attended a demo by one of the O'Hana chefs. He mentioned they had gotten blasted on the "boards" for removing the shrimp skewers, and so they would be coming back. We've never eaten at O'Hana's, so the comment didn't mean much to me, except that it was interesting that enough comments about something here on the DIS might actually cause a menu change. I wonder why they don't discontinue the sausage...I've never read anything good about it here.
