Ohana Question

I have what may be a dumb question. If we are doing Epcot during the day and wanted to do Ohana for dinner, do we just hop on the Monorail? And do you need a parkhopper? I am assuming you only need a parkhopper to go from one PARK to another and the resort would be different but I want to make sure. Sorry for the probably obvious questions, we are first timers!

You can take the Epcot monorail to the TTC (Ticket & Transportation Center) and then switch to the Resort monorail line. That line will stop at the Polynesian! And no, you don't need a hopper just to have dinner at 'Ohana as it's at the resort, not a park. Have fun

ETA #2: Also forgot to mention that if you don't have your heart set on riding the monorail (which I think it's really fun) you can take a bus directly from Epcot to the Polynesian. It would probably be faster but not as fun

You do not need Park Hoppers as you will not be entering a second park.
You can take the Monorail to the TTC and then walk to the Poly from there. The Poly is adjacent to the TTC. It is very close and it is quicker than switching to the Resort Monorail. It is a very pretty walk through the Poly grounds as well. There are signs directing you to the walkway on the Poly grounds.
