We are a large party of 14 that all liked Ohana back when they would bring out the skewers. Now that they have shifted to family style, most of our party likes a certain type of meat, how long does it take them to bring out additional quantities/bowls? We are concerned its going to be a wait game for certain meats as they typically dont bring out enough for our large parties at other similar family-style restaurants. Does anyone know or have any experiences around this issue that they can share when it comes to large groups like ours?

We ate at Ohana in December 2022 and it was a major disappointment. The steak was tough, chewy and overcooked. Chicken was not appealing. I got violently sick. Once and done for DH and I, son and DIL. Kona Cafe is much better IMO. We ate there on the same trip and we enjoyed our meals and service was great. Perhaps things have improved?

As a big group, I would go to Boma. Good luck!

We did the breakfast with 7 last month in May, our server was on us for top ups for refilling of food. We did the dinner back in 2023 and were not over all impressed, with the quality of the food and after a few top ups the service got slower. We had a party of 5 with vegetarian and meat meals I would think they would have food refills available quickly with your bigger group. We have another trip booked for May 2025, and we are doing Ohana Breakfast, it was even better then Topolinos breakfast we had on the same trip.

We've never had any issue getting enough food regardless of how many people we have in our group. We've had as many as 14 more than once. Quality of specific dishes varies from visit to visit but there is always way more food than we can finish and a reasonable variety. Once it starts coming, it keeps on coming. Go in with reasonable expectations and encourage your group not to arrive famished because sometimes it takes a while to get seated. I feel like arriving with a good attitude and packing a little patience goes a long way. There's nothing gourmet about the food at 'Ohana. This experience is all about the ambiance and enjoying your dining companions.

Thank you. You answered my question and this was very helpful.

We stopped going to Ohana after 2 very disappointing meals the last 3 years… When they changed the menu and service the food took a serious dive… it used to be one of our favorite places to go but will keep it off our list for now…

We stopped going because the quality of the meat has really grown down. On our last visit I asked 3 times for more noodles, we never received them. We wanted more noodles because no one wanted to eat the meat. It used to be one of our favorites.

In our experience quantity is never an issue. Quality can suffer as meats tend to dry out. Dessert makes it worthwhile but at the current price we stopped going.

Menu suffered after Covid shutdown. The quality of the meats continue to do down hill. Rubbery beef, dark meat chicken, and pork no longer served. This restaurant is not worth the $60 price. Disney ruined a good thing.

We used to be an Ohana every trip family. Even with kids who we"d have to pay full price for.hot dogs/chicken tenders/fries. We went back post Covid (2022) to the 'new' Ohana and we skipped it for our honeymoon/birthday trip. All I like now is the noodles/pot stickers and pineapple bread.

We didn't care for Ohana dinner before the changes. Given that they are cooking the meat right in front of you in an open kitchen, it was not good.

Now we only go for breakfast when we want to pay a visit to the Poly.

We ate at Ohana’s May 2024 after a long break from it. The only thing we didn’t like ( me & husband) was the steak & chicken. My daughter did like the chicken which surprised me because she’s picky. Really liked the dumplings, wings, noodles, salad & of course, dessert. Our waiter was attentive & bought out extras quickly. We were a table of 3. I did notice larger parties quickly getting their food too
