For people that just got back, which is currently being served at 'Ohana - pototoes or noodles?

Thanks - have a picky sister that really wants potatoes.

I hate to disappoint your sister ... we were there Sat 8/23 and it was noodles. They were really very good!

Oh well, guess my sister might be disappointed.

I actually changed our ADR from 1900 Park Fare to Ohana's a few minutes ago. Was able to get a 4:00 ADR since they extended hours during Free Dining.

Can't wait, haven't been there before. :yay:

Didn't I read somewhere here recently that they were going to bring the potatoes back? I'm sure I didn't dream it.

If so, I hope they're back by October 4th at 5 PM!!!!!!

I thought so too.

It seems like I read where some people had gotten potatoes lately.

I'm still hoping we will get there and get potatoes (for my picky sister, of course). :goodvibes

I just searched through some old threads and saw where someone called about whether or not there would be potatoes for their reservation on 9/5 (tomorrow). According to the CM they spoke with, the answer was yes!

Now, bear in mind that some CMs have been known to give inaccurate information, so take this with a grain of salt. But if someone does eat there in the next few days, I hope they'll report back to us.

We ate there on Sept 1st and we got noodles. They were good and I am a picky eater (although to look at me you wouldn't know it).

There is more then enough food that she will find something to eat. The honey BBQ chicken wings are awesome, so is the beef. And the bread is some of the best I have eaten anywhere.

We just came back last weekend. We ate there twice, one last week and the other the week before. Both times noodles. I haven't seen the potatoes for a long time now. It wasn't there during our March 2008 trip or the October 2007 and I'm not even sure it was there on our May 2007. I think it's been awhile. But I'm not complaining, I love the noodles. Even my husband who loved the potatoes prefer the noodles now.

We ate there 8/31 and it was noodles.

We got noodles as well on 8/31. I wonder if I saw you there? I was in a party of 13 sitting right in front of the fire pit in the middle section. We had 7 kids and 6 adults between 5-7pm. The kids kept making trips to the bathroom so we may have looked like 6 adults taking up a large table!

Btw, this was the 1st time we had been to Ohana's in about 2 years. I thought the food was excellent - better than I remembered. We are faithful to Boma's but I may have to start making Ohana's a regular visit again.

I have eaten at Ohana pre-potatoes as well as during the "potato era". (I have yet to eat "post-potatoes" though, so I can't comment on the noodles.) I thought the potatoes were a good addition - I loved them!I agree with the previous poster though - there are so many yummy things to try you will hardly notice the lack of potato goodness. I highly recommend the sticky wings! YUMMY! Enjoy!

We will there on 9-25 and we are looking forward to the the sticky wings. My DD and myself loved the potatoes, but my DH can't eat them.... so let's hope that we all like the noodles. Love the salad, also.:thumbsup2

We will be eating at Ohana on 10/18/08. We love the potatoes and hope they come back, but I'm interested in trying these noodles too. The look yummy!

Was there and had the noodles. They were good, but preferred the potatos last year.

Overall liked Ohana much better last year than this trip. This year the kitchen was having some kind of issue keeping anything but the shrimp available and it seemed like we were sitting there looking at empty plates most of the night. We were there for over 2 hours with a party of 3, mostly because no one was bringing us any food. The food was all tasty when we got some, but the waits were crazy.

Last year I loved it so much it was a must-do for this trip. Sadly this year it's being taken off the must-do list.
