Help! We are first timers and need to decide between these two restaurants for our AK night. Our kids are 4, 6, and 8 and would be up for activities at either. Any advice would be appreciated! (our other ADR's are CP, CRT-lunch, Le Cellier, and Garden Grill). THanks!

I prefer 'Ohana, no question. It's one of my family's favorite restaurants on property. Both places you mentioned offer fun and entertainment for children and feature rowdy atmospheres. I like the food at 'Ohana a lot more.

We liked Ohana so much we ate it twice when we were there a few weeks ago and my 8 year old had a great time and really enjoyed tge activities!

On our AK days we do a 10:30 am "brunch" at Tusker House then a 5pm dinner at 'Ohana.

'Ohana is a very large meal, go starving!

These two choices rated the lowest in satisfaction during our last trip, but if I had to suggest one over the other it would be Ohana. Both have spotty performance when it comes to service and quality of the food served, but both provide non-food gimmick. Ohana entertainment with coconut races, some ADR times could view Wishes if seated in the right area. WCC's non-food gimmick is getting pretty old-stale with the gags and jokes. Often one table of guest can consume your server's time to the point all the other a neglected. Seating location matters too. At Ohana you want in front of the grill area, center room or next to the window. At WCC you want main room either in the center or closer to the entrance area (especially at lunch).

I would note that I am suggesting, not recommending, but at least you might get lucky and get a good server on a night where the grill is providing timely and quality meat offerings.

Ohana is a favorite of ours - the food is good (pork fried dumplings, chicken wings, steak/pork/turkey/shrimp served from skewers, and for dessert: bread pudding a la mode). We also enjoy the polynesian theming/atmosphere which includes some form of entertainment such as coconut races, limbo contests, hula dancing lessons, or a ukelele player. WCC is ok, but nothing special IMO.
