ohana restaurant is that doable on a Epcot day?? Or sci fye is that a must do in hs?? Trying to figure out where to cut

Ohana is definitely doable on an Epcot day utilizing the monorail. Are you planning breakfast or dinner?

I wouldn't consider Sci-Fi a must do but I'm not really a fan of any restaurant in HS.

Thanks dinner for sure I wasn’t a fan when I was looking into ha restaurants either sooo where do u eat when visiting hs ?? I have two young girls ?

We usually plan QS on HS days. If the weather is nice we go to Backlot Express and if its really hot we go to ABC commissary for the a/c- chicken nuggets are the same at pretty much all QS restaurants and aren't terrible.

If you are on the dining plan with 2 young girls and must have a TS for HS, I'd probably pick Hollywood and Vine. The food is mediocre but you'll get to meet characters. Other options would be Cape May at Beach Club or Trattoria al Forno at The boardwalk- both have better food and you can take the boat from those resorts to HS- breakfast at both are character meals.

Then go for Sci-Fi, as when my kids were younger they LOVED Sci-Fi, it was quieter and indoors, air conditioned, def a break from the heat. As a matter of fact when we go back, just my wife and myself we going going back to Sci-Fi.........

How old are your girls? IMHO, Sci-Fi isn't conducive to very young children. The table set-up is very awkward and, if you have to assist with their meals at all, I find it quite difficult. In DHS, consider 50's Prime Time or H&V if you are interested in a character meal. 'Ohana is doable from EP, but there are so many good restaurants in EP, I wouldn't take up park time to go all the way to Poly for dinner.

Can u please give me a few to do?? First timer they r 6 and 5
Sci Fi is one of our kids' favorite restaurants. They loved it at that age and still do. Milkshakes with lunch/dinner while watching tv/movies! We haven't been a lot compared to others on this board (are about to go for a fifth time), but that is the one restaurant we have done every time and have it booked for our next trip.

I would just eat in Epcot. They might like Coral Reef with the tank. At DHS I would do 50’s PTC.

We like Sci Fi. I have 3 boys and will be taking my nieces in November (7 and 5). I’ve also gone with just my sister.

Other fun ones are 1900 Park Fare (Cinderella, lady Tremaine, stepsisters), Be Our Guest (lunch), Akershus (Epcot, princesses), Coral Reef (Epcot, aquarium), and Garden Grill (Epcot, Mickey and friends).

At 5 and 6 years old, the girls can share their own car seat in Sci-Fi and feel big about that. I don't like most of the options for table service in HS except for 50's Prime Time and Sci-Fi Dine-in. If planning to be at HS for a long day, a table service meal at Sci-Fi for lunch is a good break.

The aquarium is that kid friendly?? For some reason I passed that one up??

At 6 and 5, they might enjoy Sci-Fi. I would check the menu at 50's Prime Time as well as that's a lot of fun. At EP, consider Biergarten if you don't mind buffets. If your children like to dance, they have an oompah band and a big dance floor.

Ohana is doable on an Epcot day we have done it and are doing it again this Fall. Sci Fi is is a must do for us we just love it there the food is good but the atmosphere is just fun its like being in a drive in.

My kids love Sci Fi. That's probably their favorite table service besides Crystal Palace. We love the atmosphere!

Personally, I would do Sci Fi. Even with the monorail and transferring, thats a long time to lose to go to Ohanas. You could easily spend the better part of 2 hours getting there and back plus the meal.
Its doable, but I wouldn't.

For me it is Ohana hands down but we ate at Sci Fi once ten years ago and my children are still talking about how much they loved the place as recently as this week. The food was nothing to write home about but the atmosphere is pretty cool. It isn't my must do though. Kinda a one and done. I've been to Ohana every trip however.

Thanks I still haven’t decided I may book both.. ohana is prob not too kid friendly ?? Depends on if I crt or not

The last two times I’ve been to Sci-Fi it’s been kind of creepy. It was dead silent in the restaurant both times. For Pete’s sake, you’re not watching a real movie in there.

The food is okay. Basic burgers and shakes. Is it worth traveling from Epcot to Hollywood Studios? Absolutely not.
