We have about 20 -25 people coming to our Vow renewal in Nov at Shades of Green. I am torn between having dinner at Ohana afterwards or at Mangino's (the italian restaurant at Shades of Green.

I had originally wanted to do all of it at the Poly but the difference in price was crazy! We are saving $8500 doing the ceromony at Shades of Green!!!!

But for Dinner we could try to go to Ohana or should we stay at Shades of Green and have Dinner. Then we can go to the Poly Beach for the fireworks?

The ceromony is at 4:30pm and then we could do Dinner at 6ish?

I don't know much about Shades of Green, but is 6 pm dinner too early for the fireworks? Sometimes wishes is at 9 or 10...

Some people may not be willing to do the walk for the fireworks alone, you might need the dinner to get them over to the Poly first.just a thought.

If all your guests are staying at SOG, there is a golf cart shuttle that goes right to the Poly. I personally love Ohana so I would go there :)

I would definitely do Ohana's for dinner. It's a great restaurant, you can take photos there as well, and you'll already be at the Poly for the fireworks making it easier for your guests. It's a win-win situation all the way.;)

I love ohana so I would go there. Carrie's podcast with a Shades of Green bride really scared me off. Please let us know about your experience after the wedding.

I know that Shades of Green has a new wedding coordinator. So far I have had a wonderful experience with them. They are prompt at getting back to me and seem to want to help. This was not the Disney experience I was having. Making the switch to SofG was an easy move based on the attentiveness and helpfullness alone. The huge savings was just a bonus! LOL
I did book with Manginos. I still go back and forth but I think everyone is on board for going to the Poly for the fireworks. We love Ohana too but last time we went with a big party they sat us 1 1/2 after our ADR time and a lot of the people in our party are hesitant about that. No one wants to eat at 9:30pm again!
Also there are less issues with doing what we want to do at Manginos. We can have the cake we want and the decorations we want. It is so much easier than dealing with all the Disney RULES! LOL
There are a few of us going to Ohana another night though.

Thank you All for your help!
