I've made an ADR for the Lilo and Stitch breakfast as we're planning to have a later morning at the Poly, but the Kona menu looks so nice, don't know whether to change to that instead?

What do you prefer and why?

Thanks :)

I prefer Kona, its my favorite spot for Breakfast in WDW. The food is great.

I should add we have 2 children dd is 5 and ds is 2. I'm sure they'd love Lilo and Stich but we are doing 9 other character meals anyway! ;)

When we go in a couple of weeks, we have ADRs for Kona. I haven't been to this restaurant in many, many years so it will be like a new experience for me. When I first booked, I had originally had ADRs for O'hana but quickly realized that my DD6 and DD3 would be very nervous around Stitch because of his antics that he pulls at the tables. I have read that he tries to steal the kids food, out of play, and acts like...well...Stitch. My kids are kind of nervous around him when we see him in the parks, therefore I switched to Kona. If your kids are a little shy about certain characters like mine are, then I would definately say Kona.

Well, since 2002, this now 50 yo kid would not miss Ohana for breakfast at least one day. The family has grown to include 14 of us traveling to WDW every year, and we all go to Ohana. I understand the concern Poohsfan1 pointed out, but my twin nephews are a bit skidish too, but they were fine with Stitch, and really kind of enjoyed him. They always ask Uncle (since I make all the ressies) to be sure that we eat with Stitch again. SO, that is my vote. Of course I will confess I have never eaten at Kona, so perhaps my opinion is biased.

DH and I just had this conversation yesterday after looking at Ohana's menu. We're doing both because we couldn't decide. I want Tonga Toast and he wants to see Lilo and Stitch and plus we've never eaten at Ohana. I would say if you're already doing character meals, then go to Kona for the food and atmosphere of the Poly.

Definitely do Kona, the kids will love it, even without characters! They can get smoothies for breakfast, what's better than that??
