O'Hana or 1900 Park Fare?

Which one would you pick? Looking to do this on the night on MNSSHP, so we will take the monorail over to the hotel for 4ish ressies then back to the park for the party. Tia

O'hana! I love the food and the entertainment! The banana bread pudding is to die for. When I was pregnant DH and I ate 2 of them! I love the Poly in general so I guess Im bias.

Depends on what kind of food everyone in your group likes. More diversity at 1900 Park Faire, but rave reviews for 'Ohana.

The menu at 'Ohana is too limited for me--I can't eat shellfish and I don't like most of the items on the menu. But if it works for your group, most people seem to love it.

Well...me nor my son are big seafood eaters, if that's what 'Ohana would be...then we would def. be better at 1900 Park Fare. Is that mainly what 'Ohana would be? What about 1900 Park Fare what is the menu like there?

That's just what I was thinking; have you considered Chef Mickey's? Crystal Palace is another great, in-park option. Below are the menus for each:

As a side note: Crystal Palace is one of my favorite restaurants in WDW, and will continue to be my favorite buffet. There is a good selection of excellent food, and the service is great! Definitely worth every penny!

Yes....he prob. would , but, we are going with another family and they have a 3 year old little girl and this was their pick for their day , so we are going also. I know he will not care about the Princess so much, but, hoping he will enjoy 'eating at the castle' , but, we may just have to rethink this one . We may just stick with 1900 PF or Crystal Palace (we did CP in Oct. 07) so I was wanting something we haven't tried yet.

Dinner at Park Faire is Cinderella, Prince Charming, Lady Tremaine, the Stepsisters. He might not care about Cinderella and the Prince but Lady Tremaine and the Stepsisters are a real hoot. They will definatley keep you laughing. Ohana is not a character meal at Dinner. But there are games and they teach you to hula. The food comes on skewars. There is a fish one But the others are grilled meats so if you are not big fish eaters you will be fine. Also you have a better view of the Castle from Ohana. If this is a breakfast meal they both have characters. Ohana is Minnie, Lilo & Stitch. I think Park Faire is Mary Poppins, Alice & the Mad Hatter. If you check out allears.net they have a complete listing of characters and Menus. If you look at passporter it will give you the characters and dinning reviews and a general idea of what is served but not the full menu. We are doing Park Faire for our trip the end of April. Teenage DS likes the food at Ohana but is torn. He also want to go to Marakesh for to see the bellydancers.

I'm not sure if you meant eating at 1900 Park Faire would be 'eating at the castle' but just in case, 1900 PF is at the Grand Floridian, not in the MK...hope that helps with your decision...

I would go with O'hana, i think that with the activities they do that are hula and coconut races and a few others I think the kids would have more fun. We like 1900 PF and go there for the princess interaction, but it can get boring I think for the younger ones. Where O'hana keeps you busy, and just having the food on skewers is fun, hope this helps
