Ohana opinions?

We had a hard time getting a dinner ADR but got one for 9:10, showed up at 8:00 and were seated by 8:30. This was last week. I had heard so much hype I was dying to try it! My kids (3 and 6) didnt really eat much except for the awesome bread. I thought the rest of the food was just okay and the atmosphere/experience was completely overrated. A lounge singer type woman sang with the kids a couple times and handed out leis to those who joined her on the floor. The service was so-so - they drop everything off family style. We left a 15% tip and our waiter complained! Everyone wants 20% and they just dont do much here.
Lots of food - you'll get your moneys worth. Just not what we expected and what the reviews seem to hype. Dinner at 1900 PF was far superior.
