Saw a picture on the food porn thread of the noodles at Ohana and the caption said "noodles with peanut sauce". Can someone tell me if this is true? If so, can you request the noodles with a more traditional lo mein sauce instead of peanut sauce?

I don't have an answer for you as to altering the sauce, but I will say that (to me) they don't taste like peanuts/peanut butter at all, they are like regular lo mein noodles, just more dry. I love them, they are my favorite part of the meal :)

I think you can get them sauceless, but I doubt there are sauce options.

There's no peanut sauce on the noodles. Peanut sauce is delivered to your table, though.

My son has a peanut allergy and the only thing at Ohana that has peanuts in it is the peanut sauce that they deliver separately to your table. The chef will come out every time b/c we have his allergy noted on our reservation and he will tell you that you can just not have the sauce delivered to your table and you will be just fine. We get the sauce and only my husband uses it and my son knows to only use the sweet and sour sauce. There is nothing with peanuts in it on any other food and the peanut sauce is not on any of the meats that are cooked. We love Ohana and feel completely safe with him eating there.
