How long can we expect dinner at Ohana to last? We have a 6:55 PM reservation - hoping we'll still be seated for the 8:00 PM Wishes.

Also on the wait time before they seat you. We had to wait any where from 5 min to 45 min even though we had a reservation. Then food came pretty quick and we prob made it last longer by sitting and talking. Avg time after seated for us was 1hr to 1.5hr.

We went to Ohana in January with a 6:45 reservation. We waited a long time to be seated, around 45 minutes. Then we were at the table for at least an hour. We were able to watch Wishes from our table at 8pm. I think you will be there at the perfect time.

Even with reeise's getting into O Hana's is tricky so I would say you will be lucky if have your table by time Wishes starts. so may work out great for you after all. did for us:cool1:

I was afraid of being rushed out of Ohana on Monday night this past week but it was anything but. It was actually a very relaxed meal with plenty of time between "courses." We had a 6:15 reservation, were seated by 6:30 and left the restaurant around 8.

The last time we reserved for this......we waited and waited......tkinking our reservation time we picked would let us have a seat later in our meal to watch.....well, lo and behold.....everyone else in the restaurant had the same idea.....some alot earlier than us...and weren't leaving though totally done with their meals....

We were told, we'd probably be seated after the fireworks when the guests finally left....that was like and hour plus after our ADR time......we told them to shove it........and we won't go back for how it came out and the meal is mediocre at best......good luck.....though you may have an ADR, it's not a guaranteed seating time....it's the next available table in order so you can have a long long wait....it's why we don't do dining plans with ADR's......

Also wanted to add:

Very few of the tables have a good view/a view at all of the fireworks. You may be better getting an earlier ressie and going to the beach!

+1! What she said! Every time we have eaten at Ohanas we have been seated FAR away from the windows. Not a big deal for us, since we had no particular desire to see Wishes while we ate. But this would definitely be a consideration for you. But we were just a couple, and I'm not sure that they even have smaller tables by the windows....
