Ohana in January

Are any of you having difficulty booking dinner at Ohana for January? I recently booked for a group of 15, and could not get anything the week of the 13th-19th. I did get one for the 20th after calling for several days. The CM finally told me that they were renovating that week.
Now, I am trying to make my own personal reservation for the week of Jan 1-6th, and NOTHING! I thought this was a slow week. I can get a breakfast, but not a dinner. Anyone else have a ressie for dinner this week? Just curious.

Ohana is hot right now. Whether or not it is slow season or non free dining, an Ohana ressie is scarce. Hang in there and keep trying is all you can do. I know everyone loves this restaurant, but for some reason it is out of control right now.

Yes, people have had A LOT of trouble booking 'Ohana's for supper in January, can easily get breakfast, but supper appears near impossible.

Someone posted that they called and a CM checked and there was no bookings in the systems but you couldn't get a reservationg for dinner in later Jan...

Not sure if it has to do with the renovations or what...

I had the same issue when my ADR opened up but after a few days I was able to get a 7pm on Jan 3

This is exactly the issue that I ran into.

The reservations opened up for a few days, and then shut down again for the entire month of January.

As of about a week ago you could get into 'Ohana easily on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day, and then nothing at all until February 2nd. No matter what day, how many people, all supper times are impossible to get.

I suspect that we might be hearing about renovations and it's entirely possible that those with reservations may be getting calls that they've been bumped because it's closed for dinner.

I have called trying to get a reservation at Ohanas for the first week in Jan everyday for two weeks and I finally got one yesterday for Jan 1 8:30 for dinner. I was originally trying to get one for the week of Jan 15. The CM told me that Ohanas was booked solid for the month of Jan and that they were have a small reno the week of Jan 15.

I am one of the lucky ones that nabbed 'Ohana in January when it loaded for those brief few days awhile back.
Like you said I am nervous now that they are going to contact me about it being closed for renovations during the evenings and that my reservation is useless.
I know about it being closed fully on the 17th-20th.

I just booked two ADRs for January. One for the 12th and one for the 15th. I'm about to cancel one of them... Long story how I ended up with two.... it was because I was trying EVERY day of my trip to get in, and when I got in, I tried for the actual day I wanted next and sure enough it was available too.




Keep trying!! Hopefully they opened up a huge window of ADRs and everyone will get a ressie!!

I was just able to find available times during my trip, January 22-28. 'Ohana here we come!

We were finally able to make an ADR at Ohana for January 4th. Now I'm trying to decide between it and Akershus.

I just today booked our ADR for Jan 7. Looked for 8 and got in at 8:05! Not bad at all!!! I'm excited!!
