Ohana for kids

I found in older threads that people have said you can get kids food at Ohana if you ask. Nuggets, fries, burgers were all mentioned. I was wondering if anyone had experience with this recently? I'm sure it's possible the menu was different at the time those posts were made so I want to double check.

Still possible to get typical (or would that be stereotypical?) American kid food like chicken nuggets.

It used to be whatever was on the kids' menu for Kona.

But you will pay the listed child price at 'Ohana. So, very expensive nuggets.

I know we've been offered the nuggets for our kids even though they are perfectly fine eating the standard fare.

My son loves the meats but not the sides so much. if you order kid food you are not limited to eating the kid food, so mine eats the wings and his weight in steak with a nice side of mac and cheese and is a very happy camper. They also gave him a brownie cupcake with marshmallow and m&m topping and he ate that along with some bread pudding.

The standard menu is pretty kid friendly. Kabobs and noodles.
