I've been reading a ton of mixed reviews on Ohana. We have an ADR for dinner but we also have an ADR for the same day at Tusker House plus we plan to use a QS credit at FlameTree.

Should we keep Ohana or consider something else ? I think we'd like to go to DTD on our AK day and our Ohana ADR is at 645 now.

sounds more/less like personal preference to me. the only thing I will say is that ohana is very highly sought after. ie, if you cancel that one you will likely not get it back.

We just got back and loved Ohana for diner. Everyone in our group put it in their top 2 meals of the week. I have a 5 year old and she hated most of the food that they served us, but they are more than happy to let the kids eat off of a kids menu. She had a double decker grilled cheese which was the highlight of all her meals. They also brought her her own special dessert and were happy to let her eat anything that she did like from the regular menu.

Thanks for your review ! Do I order her dinner ahead of time or do I just order it once we are seated ? I'm not sure how much she would eat off the adult menu because she's not a big meat eater

I didn't order ahead of time. I was on the dining plan and it was the first thing that our waiter mentioned. He asked if he could order something for her off the kids menu but said she was more than welcome to eat anything that they brought out

we went in May to O'hana with our 7 year old gd and our 9 year old grandson...they loved it and even did the coconut race...they liked the food too..

Like pp said..if you cancel it you may not be able to get another one...

My 2 year old loved Ohana. With the skewers of food going around, the ukulele player, and coconut races, there is plenty of entertainment. Our waiter brought him chicken nuggets and french fries and offered to bring anything else off the kids menu we thought he might like. He even got a cupcake for dessert - which meant more bread pudding for me :) Ohana is one of my favorites, so I definitely would keep that ADR!

I agree with the others! Ohana is our absolute must do every trip, we all love it! They are great with offering anything off the kids menu for the little ones that don't like the normal menu offerings. Then with all of the activities they do during dinner for the kids, they all have a blast no matter what!

we were there with our son and dil and the two grandkids..and they loved it...they loved the food and the race they did with the coconuts...
I say go for it...if there are special offerings for the kiddos as well...ask..

our granddaughter ate four or so pot stickers and loved the chicken wings..she also ate some shrimp..Our grandson ate all the adult offerings too..

We last went in 2011 when my 8 year old was 5. When I asked him if there was anywhere that he wanted to eat while planning our upcoming trip, he said Chef Mickey's because we didn't make it last time and Ohana because he remembers having fun with the coconut race. Both of my sons ate what was served and seemed happy with the food. It is the only restaurant that we are repeating from last time because he asked to eat there again.

My son was 5 and we did great at Ohana for dinner. It was fabulous. Highly recommend.

I went to Ohana with a 4, 2 and 1 year old and they all loved it. They did a great job with hula lessons, coconut bowling and other activities to entertain.
