Ohana feast room service at the Polynesian

Can anyone tell me if they enjoyed this as room service? Ohana,(along with Boma), is my favorite restaurant. I am debating if since we will be staying at the Polynesian, if I want the Ohana feast in my room, with more of a relaxed setting, or if I should make an adr as always.(I'm kinda worried though that I'll eat myself into a coma if I'm sitting on my bed eating sticky wings and pot stickers lol.) Does the room service version taste fresh/the same as it does in the restaurant? How are the portions? Since it's aycte in the restaurant, how much food do they bring if you order as room service? Just thinking out loud-planning my trip...excited that I have the possibility to order Ohana pot stickers, without an adr...at the Polynesian...

We ordered this when my friend was staying in a bungalow. It was nice there as they had a big dining room table to lay out the food. It was a TON of food. Honestly, I wouldn't be comfortable eating all of this in a standard room at the Poly. Unless I were in a bungalow again (which isn't happening any time soon!), I would just go to the restaurant.

Most of the steak was inedible, and there was no ice cream with the bread pudding. We paid $110 including tip (I'm pretty sure we ordered two adult portions, but it may have been one adult/one child) and it doesn't cost THAT much more to eat in the restaurant itself.

That's what I was worried about...everything getting cold before I can get to finish it. I despise room temp food that should be warm, or room temp food that should be cold.

We did this in October - we ordered for one, two adults ate and we had lots leftover. We threw some towels over the top of it all to help hold in the heat and found it worked fairly well.

We were in a standard room - they set it up on the table in the room, and we fixed ourselves plates and enjoyed it on the balcony. It was pretty much perfect.

What is the cost per person?
Is the TIW discount allowed ?
Is there enough for one order to feed two adults?

We did this this summer. Ordered it so it would arrive in time for wishes and watched from our room with the balcony door open. (Had a water view DVC room)

We loved it. I like hot food but still found it very enjoyable. I might have microwaved a few things to heat them back up. We ordered for three and five of us ate with leftovers. Liked getting away from the relative chaos of O'Hana and saved some money too.

I never knew this existed and we have stayed at the Poly many times. Intriguing idea but for us no ice cream on the Bread Pudding is a non-starter.

When we did the in-room feast we got ice cream at Moana Mercantile. You can't do that bread pudding with it!

We did this last week. We ordered 1 adult portion for 2 people and there was plenty of food left over. All of our food was delivered at the same time and hot. We'd definitely do this again. We felt this to be more cost effective than two adults at Ohana. Plus, it was nice a quiet.

$40 adult, $20 child. I think it's comparable to Ohana, but not 100% sure. Tip not included and no TIW.

It's comparable. But TIW is never accepted on room service, if I recall correctly.

It is indeed $40 for the adult portion, $20 for the kids portion. there is a $3 delivery fee, and they add an 18% gratuity to the bill. But the bill still has the space to add a tip on it, even though it's already been included in the printout - so be aware of that. Very easy to tip twice if you're not thinking about it.
