can anyone advise on this show is it good value and would people rate it as one of the better dining experiences,i have been reccomended to go but dont know whether to book a normal dinner reservation or the dinner show, any help appreciated :moped: :love1:

You're talking about the "Sprit of Aloha" Luau at The Polynesian, not the 'Ohana restaurant, right?

The Spirit of Aloha is a good show, but we were very disappointed with the food and lack of any character appearance. I know it isn't specifically a Disney-themed show, but we at least expected to see Mickey Mouse or Lilo and Stitch. The food is "family style" and brought to your table on steel/metal plates by a server who is allocated about 30 tables to attend to  . We all thought the chocolate desert was horrible, but the entrees were okay (just nothing special). The show itself has a lot of songs, dancing and some audience participation. We wouldn't go again, but lots of people enjoy it. My three children were bored after ten minutes. In my opinion it was overpriced.
