Ohana Dinner Dessert request

Ohana dinner is one of our favorite places to eat while we are at WDW. We, however, do NOT like the desert Bread Pudding a la mode. Has anyone asked for a substitute desert or will they even allow that?

They have brownies with M&ms for the kids. I'm sure they would bring you a plate of those.

I've also heard they will provide plain vanilla ice cream on request.

....... Just kidding OP my kids don't care for it either and I give them the same reaction each time. I just love it so! But alas not everyone has the same taste. For my kids they are always given the brownie the above post described

As a party of only adults/teens last year we asked for something different for the ones who didn't like the bread pudding no brownies or anything of that nature were offered but plain vanilla ice cream was offered (and we just asked for extra sauce on the side to use on that ice cream) and that seemed to go over well with everyone at the table.
