I don't want us to sound like pigs with this question BUT has anyone ever ordered seconds of the dessert at Ohanas?

We are a family of 5 and have eaten here before and they bring out one of those things and we all fight over it!
If we were eating at anywhere else we would either put a variety of desserts on our plate from a buffet or be served our own individual (but sometimes large) dessert.
I hate to look bad and ask for more but it's SO GOOD and it just doesn't seem like enough for all of us to share since we only get it once per trip which at his point has been 2 years!

We always order seconds and sometimes thirds. :rotfl2: Love the dessert there. The fist bowel they bring is way too small. I could go there and just eat dessert and be happy.

The first and only time we ate here was in 2001. We ordered a toasted coconut iceacream it was ever so creamy.

We are a family of 7 with 1 child-- will they really bring only one plate for all of us?

"banana stuff"?!!!
Blasphemy! That stuff is awesome!
Yes, you can get seconds. You can also get vanilla ice cream with mickey sprinkles. And a cupcake, if it's your bday.

Thanks for the replies!

As for the bananas comment I hate bananas and I never eat anything with bananas in it but this stuff I could eat all day long!

We love it so much that my husband will tell the server "just go ahead and bring out a LARGE serving, and we will eat more than you can bring"! :rotfl2: It is SO yummy! And yes we do typically ask for another serving after that ;)

Had this on August 8th...we are only 3 people so didn't need seconds, but they offered to bring more if we wanted. It was very yummy!

We've never been able to FIT seconds on dessert...I really think it should come FIRST so that we have more tummy room!!
YUM! We've learned how to make it at home though, so we have it on special occasions. I do have to say though....the flambeing is much better when you are watching!! :scared1:

Oh yeah, did it the first time we ate there and planning on doing it in Feb.

Thanks for asking this, OP! My boys were not happy last time that they got the boring ice cream and sprinkles at 'Ohana so I gave them my portion of the bread pudding because I didn't think they'd give seconds. I want to eat some myself this time!

Last year we were party of seven 4 adults, a 16 yr old, 3 yr old and infant and they brought 2 Bowls but only DSIL and DD16 ate it. I'm stll missing the pineapple and caramel. DD26 and DD24 were too stuff to eat anything else.

My Mom and I aren't huge fans so we usually just eat a small spoonful of the first serving but my Dad and brother eat all of that and then order a second. People go bananas over the bread pudding! :)

I am not a big fan of bread pudding and we asked nicely and they just brought out some ice cream and the sauce (which I loved) for me and the whole thing for hubby.

It is family style so I am sure they will bring out as much as you can eat.

My first time at Ohana there was a table of 3 20something men sitting at the table next to my friend and I. When it came time for desert they asked (and received) one full plate for each of them. My friend and I sat there amazed watching how much food these 3 in shape men could put away. :lmao:

Is it plain bread pudding...or i think i may have read somewhere that it is pineapple/coconut bread pudding? I know it comes with a bananas foster sauce.

I remember it being tasty... but nothing beyond that. Honestly, I was too stuffed to really enjoy it at that point. I think I had like 5 pieces of steak plus everything else.

Next time I need to save some room I think!
