If we wanted to plan on seeing Wishes during or after our dinner at O'hana, about what time do you reccomend we make our reservations for?

I assume the reservations would have to be later if you wanted to see the fireworks from the restaurant... or is this rather unlikley that you'd get a table that allowed you to see them?

You can watch them from the beach of the Poly at 8pm

That's what we do and found that it's a better experience.

We had a window seat at Ohana's a few years ago and when it was time for Wishes, they piped in the music, but we found that the fireworks looked so far away. And most cases, other people kept trying to stand in front of the window blocking my children's view as well as others. I don't think people mind when the children came and sat against the window, they were not blocking anyone, but it's when the adults left their table and went to stand blocking everyone's view that was really upsetting.

Anyways, we prefer to see it from the beach since you also see the light show (??not sure what it's called - maybe electric light parade???- I'm sure someone will correct me) in the water . This was actually one of the highlights for my kids:) .

(Oh, and we had a 7:35pm adr when we saw Wishes at Ohana's. It was perfect timing, by the time we were almost finishing dessert, it came and when it was over, we paid and left.)

I have seen Wishes from O'Hana at my window side table and while its nice, its not nearly as nice as seeing them from the beach. Its also a luck thing. You can plan your ADR to coincide, but you need a table by the window to open up. Many times people who are beyond done with their meal will linger knowing the fireworks are about to start.

So my suggestion is to book a meal two hours in advance of Wishes. Then you can finish eating and go down to the beach and see them. Even if you are done early, the beach is a nice place to sit and relax, you can grab a drink from the pool bar and take it down with you.

Its just too dicey to try to see them from O'Hana. You may get lucky or you may not. Some of the tables are not even remotely near a window.

Ohana and Wishes are on our list too :thumbsup2 . Any chance they pipe the music onto the Beach?? :beach: I enjoy the fireworks shows but it's the music that gets me all choked up.

Yes they do pipe in the music on the Polynesian beach.

Is there a sweet spot to listen? The few times I have watched from the beach I found the music to soft.

Of course, I love Wishes so much I just jump on the monorail and watch from Main Street.

I think the best area is around the Hawaii Longhouse because it's where the direct view of Cinderella's Castle is.
