Oh why can't we be in a cozy dvc villa right now?!!!

I was lamenting not loading everyone in the car last Friday and heading south. Worst yet is we have a beach house the 12-19th of June and I know school is going to extend into that week now.
There have been quite a few structural collapses in our county including most of one firehouse.

Anyone in MD remember the City commercials after the 95-96 blizzards? They aired around April after several killer storms had pummeled us over the winter. It starred all the snow removal and emergency crews wheeling out their plows, stripped down to shorts & t-shirts and dancing to Heat Wave. It was hilarious.

I'm dubbing the next storm the "Knock Out Punch".

WOW I bet that was funny. We didn't move here until Aug. 99 but we had heard about that storm. However....we have officially beat that storm now. Maybe they will do something like that again.

I saw that about the firehouse. :sad1: I was thinking that I was happy I didn't book HHI for June. I wanted that week right after school got out but I waited too late to call and only 2 or 3 days were available so I went with mid July. I hear that we will probably get some days waived though so....fingers are crossed that the state superintendent will waive days so you can still make your trip.

After trudging outside to shovel out the car (finally), I decided to walk over to the other side of the building to see if the mailman came yet. Well, I'm so glad I did because lo and behold I had Mickey Mail! Yes, my ME book came along with our luggage tags. Boy, that really made my day. After that, I didn't even SEE the ton of snow outside. :cool2:

:dance3::cheer2: YAY for you!!!!! :yay: :goodvibes

No snow today at Kidani Village, but we did wear our winter clothes. If you are coming down very soon, bring warm clothes. Florida has not been in a heat wave most of the winter. It is all relative. Another week of cold weather here at the world.

Noooo!!!!! I want warm weather! If it is below 65 during the day, I'm going to be very disappointed. It's okay for the parks, but we want to swim!

My husband and I actually made our own DVC Villa here in New Jersey. We put on Disney sweatshirts and pulled out our re-fillable resort mugs. We have an AKL throw blanket that we snuggled up under. Then we spent the whole day watching Disney DVDs and listening to our Disney World CDs! Let it snow!! We were watching Spectromagic, Illuminations, and Fantasmic in our minds!! :goodvibes

well we finally got snow - today.

it will be 45 degrees tomorrow - so it will gone or most tomorrow.

ya'll need to move South....:thumbsup2
