Oh, what to do with my stuff...

We are flying into Orlando and using ME. Now, our flight comes in around 10:30am. It is possible, nay likely, that our room will not be ready at POR when we check in. What does everyone do with their carry-on luggage if the room is not ready and you want to go to the parks? We plan on checking in then beating it over to the MK, but I'm pretty sure our laptop doesn't need to go ride POC or Splash. I know they have lockers at the MK, but is there an alternative solution at the resort itself?

We have always been able to check in early (time of year). i have always heard if you can't get into your room, the hotel will watch your things for you.

Yes, Bell Services will hold any items for you, be it luggage, carry-on bags, groceries, mailed-in parcels, etc., until your room is ready. I am not completely sure if they will deliver it to your room when it becomes available, or if they will wait until you call for it, but either way, it is free, except for a tip, which of course is optional, but most people tip bell services $1 a bag upon delivery

We first go and check in to see if rooms are available. If they are not, they'll give you a phone number to call to check to see when it is ready (so you can be at the parks and not come back until you KNOW your room is ready...usually before the check in time of 3). Then you go to bell services and drop off your bags. They will give you claim checks (and yes, it is safe to leave your computer). When you get your room you can either stop by and get your luggage yourself on your way to your room (which is faster) or you can go to your room and have bell services bring it to your room. This has been over a half hour wait for us in the past, but we weren't in any hurry. It works slick. Most moderate to better hotels offer this service.
