Yeah, Boots, they left this morning. There's not much anyone can do until the bleeding situation is taken care of, so SIL and I didn't think there would be much point in having them. (I was pleasantly surprised that she asked me what to do about that. SIL, whom I adore, has a tendency to be very independent. I'm glad she's leaning on me for once.)

Also, they'll only be gone a week, and it looks like my brother will have to stay in the Vegas hospital for at least that long.

My sister is driving me crazy, though. She's called me about six times today. There's no news--I guess she's looking for comfort--but I don't know what to tell her.
