Much to my relief I felt so much better when I woke up.

Well, that's a relief.

The time was 8:22pm and I was heading out to enjoy EMH at DHS.
This was my view as I walked out.

Glad DL was fun! It must be horrible to have to leave for another trip already. How will you survive?

I'm so excited to see Star Tours this trip, it was down on my last one for the refurb.

Especially not horrible? Loving your home resort. Being able to walk home from 2 parks really is priceless!

that stinks about the pins, so many more people are getting into that now...but seems like most are just buying them to resell on ebay and make double there money or more back because they know people will buy them.

Last I left with you, I was soaking in a tub trying to ward off the nasty effects of heat exhaustion. That and a Nap.

A Very crowded night at DHS. First stop was the hat to look for the 4th of July pin. I walk away with a Star Wars weekend pin which was the last one one and several DVC and VISA pins but no July 4th pin. They were sold out already.

Oh that sucks! I hate that they are putting the pins out earlier now instead of just the day they apply so the people actually there for the occasion get them. Hope you were able to find some later..........

I would need to keep searching and it was only July 2nd.

Dinner was in order so I wandered down to Fairfax Faire for some chicken. Not too bad but not great. The line for ToT was long and RnR was even longer. I decided to try an apple crisp and found that yummy but the crowds were once again huge due to F!

While eating I snapped this and thought of Rosie.

Nice tribute! But then thinking of Rosie may have had an affect on your enjoyment of the chicken........???

Plan B

Not bad...........Not bad at all!

A slow wander down the streets of America and then out. F! must have just let out since the line for the boat was long so walk back it is.

I'm guessing that walk back to the resort from DHS is probably not as long as it seems........

A nice slow meander and back to the room. Have I mentioned how much I love my home resort??

Probably back in the room by 11 or a bit later.

Will you head over to AofA and take in a bit of the new resort, food this time?

Muppets are always a great plan B. They're my go to "I don't know what to do!" in DHS.

Almost there - killing time at work until I can go home and finish packing.


I love the Muppets- My Muppet experience in DL was umm... interesting.

Yeah DHS has been getting that way so it was easy just to walk back out.

The Boardwalk is great for those special sunsets.

I really was bummed that the July 4th pins were out. I did manage to finally find one but it wasn't easy.

I always thought that walk was long but i enjoy it more every time.

Less than a week for you

I have finally learned to really recognize it before it gets to the point of no return. The cool bath trick works the best. I need to not only be in a cool place but immersed in cool water.

I will see Brook - I have met them before, saw her doing the crane on the Streets of America in DHS I look forward to seeing how big Henry is and catching up and meeting everyone.

My first night is at POP so I will make sure I cross the bridge and walk around and take in more. Spoiler -- I did make it by but only for a quick peek.

I'm so glad to hear you your home resort. I remember when the Swan and Dolphin first opened thinking how cool it would be to be able to stay close enough to my favorite park to walk there. Well, then, there were just two parks, but still... Now there are resorts EVEN closer! And two parks in walking distance.

There really is a lot to do at Hollywood Studios so that even if the headliners are busy, you can still occupy yourself with attractions that are not too shabby in their own right!
