Oh, those yummy WDW soups!

My favorite soup in the whole world (WDW and beyond) is the potato leek soup at Biergarten. So delicious!

I have been fond of some soups at Boma too but I cannot remember what they were exactly.

ITA!!! That potato leek soup was delicious!

Every time we're at Boma's I love the soups but I don't think I could name one.

One of the best soups I've ever eaten was at Boma - it had winter squash and sausage in it, so so good. I really hope they have it when we go in a couple weeks!

I also loved the soups at BOMA and the French onion at Chefs de France, oh and the cheese soup at Le Cellier. I love soup!

I absolutely love the soups at Boma's and usually try each one. My favorites have been the Seafood curry chowder and the Mullitigawany. Thankfully they have given me the recipes for both any my DH made me the Mullitigawany for Valentines Day. Yum.

I also love the Cheddar Cheese soup at Le Cellier and the Lobster Bisque at Chef's De France.

I wish they would sell the Cheddar Cheese soup outside at a counter all the time like they do during the Food and Wine Festival.

I love soup!!!! My FAVORITES at WDW are:

Cheddar Cheese @ Le Cellier

Portbello Mushroom @ Artist Point

The Potato and Leek @ Rose Crown

I love the Canadian Cheddar Cheese soup at Le Cellier! I've wanted to try making it at home for a while now..just never got to. Some day. :thumbsup2 Beach Club's corn chowder and New England clam chowder are also some favorites and Chefs de France's French Onion Soup is SO good with the gooey Gruyere cheese.

Love the Cheddar Cheese Soup from Le Cellier. We love it so much that we make it every year for Christmas Day--it's in one of the WDW Cooking with Mickey cookbooks!

Does the clam chowder at Columbia Harbour House count as a WDW soup?? ;) It's my personal favorite.

I love the Coconut Curried Seafood soup at Boma!!! It's my favorite thing in all WDW to eat. I call it my thirty dollar soup because I'd pay for the full buffet just to eat the soup ;)

I love the butternut squash soup at The Mara at the AKL, also the chicken corn chowder and the pepper pot soup.

I used to read about the clam chowder at Columbia Harbor House often. I don't see it mentioned much lately.

Is it Manhattan (w/tomato broth) or New England (cream-based)? Is it still served in a bread bowl?

I had it last week.
It's New England style, not very thick but still pretty good. Also not served in the bread bowl.

I have the Cheese soup at Le Cellier, Lobster Bisque at Coral Reef, French Onion at Chefs de France and Clam Chowder at Columbia Harbor House. Liked them all. Cheese soup with pretzel bread is my favorite. I didn't realize I had had that much soup until I read this post. Soup isn't something I usually think about at WDW since we travel when it is so hot outside.

Wishing, have you had the NE clam chowder at Cape May Cafe? If it's as good as Cape May's, I have to try it next trip.

Roe, I agree with you. The last two times I went to Chef Mickey's, the soup was my favorite thing there.

I hear you about eating soup in hot weather, Photobob. I have to admit if I go at a buffet at home, I avoid the soup so I don't get too full on it. But I have had so many truly delicious and unique soups at DisneyWorld, I don't pass it up, hot weather be darned.

I love the butternut squash soup at The Mara at the AKL, also the chicken corn chowder and the pepper pot soup.

The butternut squash soup at Mara is the best!!! One night when they had it at both Boma and Mara, they told me it was from the same kitchen, and they gave me a sample at Boma. But then I went down to Mara, and for some reason, it still tasted better there.
Also, there used to be a vegetable soup at Pure and Simple CS inside the Wonders of Life pavillion that was very good.

Mulligatawny at Boma (and the recipe is on the huge thread somewhere here on the DIS with Disney recipes, I've made it several times at home, SO good!)

Shrimp and Curry Soup at Kona

No, I haven't tried Cape May's. As you can see from my siggie, I hadn't been back to WDW for a while until last week. It was so nice to be back! :cool1:

But I'm sure someone on the DIS could make that comparison for you. Lots of folks here seem to like to eat! :)

Sorry...this is so NOT Disney...but jess20k....I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Edward Cullen in your signature. I am so obsessed with twilight! :) (Drives my husband crazy!) :rolleyes1

Back to the topic at hand...I love the tomato bisque at the Plaza! The funny part is...I hate tomatoes! I went to lunch today with some friends at work. I ordered tomato soup but ordered my sandwich with no tomatoes! :confused3
