Now I know that I'm not the only one who spends hours upon hours on here...and listening to Disney World music....and looking back through photo albums from previous vacations every single day! So I thought everyone could share just one little thing about Disney World that comes to their mind that stands out to them every trip...Mine? That music in the lobby of our villas at Wilderness Lodge...My boyfriend and I will sit in the game room playing checkers late at night and I just feel so at "home" listening to that music...Oh how I miss Disney World!!!

On the last day of our trip, we decided to get one more ride in and ran over to the Jungle Cruise. My husband and kids went on ahead of me and as I was struggling to get my camera bags out of the stroller, I accidentally released my daughter's beloved Nemo ballon.

I jumped up and tried to grab it, but couldn't. I was really upset because my daughter was going to be SO sad and we just didn't have time to run around and find her that balloon again.

I dreaded telling her, so I didn't hoping she was too sleepy and wouldn't notice. Well, after we got off our ride we walked back to the stroller and there I was greeted with a brand new balloon with a note on a napkin that said something like, "We didn't want your daughter to be without her balloon, so here's a new one... sssshhh... it will be our secret!"

I cried. I swear, that is one of the kindest things a stranger has ever done for me... SUCH DISNEY MAGIC!

My favorite WDW memory is hanging out on the beach at the Poly in 1976. My parents were sipping pina coladas at the beach bar and me and my friend were SWIMMING in the Seven Seas Lagoon. Those were the days.

When we were at the MK watching the parade it was my dd's birthday. When Cruella De Vil came by she looked right at my daughter and said, in her most DeVilish voice, "Oh, Happy BIRTH day, Dahling!" My daughter will never forget that. Not "terribly" magical, but you just had to hear how she said it...lol.

Another favorite memory. Eating at Boma when the Chef brought out a 2 foot sculpture of some kind of spare ribs and placed it on our table. Then for dessert, he brought out deep fried Oreos. HEAVENLY! We felt so special. And everyone around us wondered who we were to get special treatment. I wanted to say, "WE'RE NOBODY!!! THAT'S WHAT MAKES IT MAGICAL!!!" lol.

Late at night, leaving Epcot, walking hand in hand with my father to the car. He is gone now, but everytime I leave Epcot, in my mind, I'm walking hand in hand with my father.

Wow, that really was nice! :)

Let's see...my favorite memory. I would have to say it would be when we were at the World this past January for DS's 3rd birthday. On the day of his birthday we got to the Magic Kingdom early to have breakfast at CP. We finished breakfast just as the park was opening. We were then on a mission to meet the 'real' Buzz Lightyear, seeing as this is DS's favorite character - he was even wearing his Buzz Lightyear costume that morning. As we headed into Tomorrowland we noticed Buzz Lightyear walking out. We ran over to him and DS got the best reaction when the 'real' Buzz Lightyear turned around and saw DS dressed up. DS was SO excited he could hardly stand it.

To top things off, we had fun in Fantasyland for a bit and then arrived at Toontown just as it was opening. As we headed to Goofy's Barnstormer (DS's favorite ride), we saw Goofy pop out and grab DS's hand. Goofy walked him on the ride and then rode with him. We have video of DS and Goofy (from the seat behind them) and all you can hear is DS giggling.

I highly suggest that anyone wanting extra attention for their birthday (or a loved ones birthday) should wear the birthday button. I am sure it was because of this that DS got so much special attention!

Sniff...what a sweet memory. My dad is coming with us in September, and I want to have a special memory like that with him.

OMG I got instant tears reading this. What a beautiful thing somebody did!

Well, my MOST magical Disney memory is when my DH proposed to me inside Cinderella Castle 2 years ago.
We were there for dinner and had a window seat overlooking Fantasyland and after dinner (despite the fact that I turned the waiter down for dessert) I was served a dessert tray covered with rose petals. The glass slipper was in the middle of the tray and inside the glass slipper was a pink rose. Inside the rose was my ring! And engraved on the side of the slipper it said "Will you marry me"! Omigod, I'm getting all teary-eyed. I'm such a dork! But it was very romantic and just as I always imagined and hoped it would be!

Here are some pictures from that wonderful day:

Thanks BonnieA, I'm reading this with a big fat tear rolling down my cheeks and I feel so happy-Chicks huh?

I was small and at WDW with my whole family, but not my father who is usually the man in charge of the car. This time my mother was driving. We park, and walk to the tram at TTC. My aunt says "Don't forget Goofy 46". We all acknowledge. We get off the tram, and she says "Goofy 46!". We get on the monorail, and once again my aunt says "Goofy 46". During lunch..."Goofy 46". During the parade..."Goofy 46". On line at Space Mountain..."Goofy 46". During dinner..."Goofy 46". After the firworks..."Goofy 46". On the walk out..."Goofy 46". On the monorail towards TTC..."Goofy 46"...

We get on the tram at the parking lot and my mother gasps and looks at all of us and says, "Oh S***! Where did we park?" GOOFY 46!

I am having a hard time choosing my favorite moment, but one that comes to mind is when I was checking into Pop a couple of years ago. They had me in a room clear across the complex. No rooms were closer. So, they told me they would move my luggage the next day to my new closer room (which they did).

Anyway, as I got my door key/card, a CM told me, "I will take you to your room", noticing I was so tired and I would have quite a trek to my room. We hopped in the golf cart and off we went. He said, "I will give you a tour of the property if you would like". It was awesome!

It was misting slightly and the ride all over the complex was so interesting. I felt so special! :flower:

..Doing the family magic tour and having Wendy ask my oldest DD to play Peter Pan and DS to play Hook ! It was awesome DD got to crow with Wendy! My youngest DD got to sit next to Wendy at Mickey's Philarmagic. They were all sooo thrilled!!

Exactly one year ago today we arrived at WDW. We would be arriving for our ADR at Chef Mickey's for dinner now. Then a ride on the monorail and back to POP w/ our DS (4 1/2 yrs old at the time). Be ready for the next morning to visit our first park MK :sunny: :earboy2: pooh:

Eating breakfast at MK this past Christmas Day. We were at the park at 7:10 am. We have the photo taken by the photographer to prove it! We got cinnamon rolls at the bakery and went to eat around the corner in that little alleyway. We could hear all the sound effects from the windows. It was so cool! Very Disney! We didn't stay long, but we have that memory.

That memory ROCKS!! That is so so nice. Your story is one of the many examples of true magic that happens at Disney.

I remember our first trip with our DS3 (at the time) in 2003 and we were walking the pathway from the BC/YC to Epcot. It was dusk and a warm summer night and we had just eaten a great dinner at Beaches & Cream. As we walked I watched everyone around me. It was increadible to see everyone and I mean everyone in a great mood. People smiling as you walked by, holding doors open for you just to be nice, laughing, holding hands, etc, etc. I just remember thinking wow how everyone is in just such a good mood. We were too and it's so contagious. That describes one of the best feelings I've had at Disney. It IS magical. It is so true that Walt lives on on all of us. Man was he an awesome man and such a visionary.

Our very first trip together we had dinner on our first night at 'Ohana after a very long trip from the UK. We were dragging a bit after dinner, but I wanted DH to have a quick look out back at the Polynesian at night. When we got outside my husband, who I had never been swimming with before because according to him he hates to swim took one look at the pool and said, "I wish we had our swim suits right now." :) Luckily the one place it turns out he loves to swim is a WDW pool. I had been a bit worried up to this point that he would love WDW as much as I did.
