Ugh..almost $1.09 to buy the USD today
Our dollar has dropped 7 cents since late April..

I'm at the mercy of the CDN dollar against the USD from now till the end of Jan/11, buying USD on a monthly basis for 2 trips to DL. So lets all hope that the dollar starts to rise again...PLEASE!!!!

Just 'looked' to see how much to transfer $100 into my USD acct and today it is $1.09.13 OUCH! This is not going the right way!!!!

They said on the news last night that they are expecting it back at par by the end of the summer. Although I think the financial people are idiots & they can't predict anything like that at all.

This is actually a good thing for me as I am in the process of selling one of my DVC contracts but in all honesty, a .90 cent dollar is maybe not good for visitors to the states, but it is good for Canada.

The dollar was on par when I booked the vacation, and when it dropped to 92 not too long ago I was expecting it to keep going down. It's at 95, but it can't stay like that until the end of June.
Good thing I already bought a decent amount of American coin, sheesh.

I'm in the same "boat" for our Disney cruise...also waiting for it to hit $1.0125 to make my final payment...I'm still optomistic I'll hit my target before it's due for us in November.

OOOHHH!! it's over $.96! It's like being in Vegas! Do you let it ride and see how high it will go, or do you cash out?

We only have spending to get (thank goodness!) but it still is a big amount so would like to get the biggest bang!
