Tomorrow is the last day I can be online before we go and typically I'm starting to remember all the questions that I should have been asking weeks ago! So here's the first!

We're staying at Newport Bay Hotel, how close is the Auchan/Val d Europe shopping area? Is it in walking distance, if not how do we get there (we wont have a car)

If we cant get there, is there anywhere close that does take out food we could take back to the room? (We're doing this trip on a tight budget so we dont want to go to expensive sit down restaurant meals)

Our first day there is the 5th and we had thought that all the halloween stuff would be finished when we arrived, but it actually finishes on the 5th. Consequently I haven't read anything about what to look out for or do. Is there anything special for halloween that I should try and see or do on that first day before it all disappears overnight?

I know there must be more questions but I cant think of any more at the moment. I bet they all come flooding back to me the moment I sit on the train at waterloo!!!

Thanks in advance for your help.

Shopping centre is definitely not within walking distance. You could get the train or bus over to the centre :)

There are quite a few places in the park you can get meals for a good price which would be comparable if not cheaper than a take away meal, and you get to eat in the parks!

They do a €9,90 menu in lots of places which will, for example in Caseys, get you a giant hot dog with cheese sauce (best hot dog in the world), fries and a drink. In Pizzeria Bella Notte it'll get you Pizza (nice one too) and a drink, or Pasta, Garlic Bread, Donut and drink. These are just two such examples and there are lots of places offerinf varying menus at that price - sit down places too!

You can take RER to Val d'Europa. It's only one stop away.

New York Style Sandwiches in the Disney Village does take out. Looking at menu (from 2004!!) it's not exciting, but might do for a money saver one evening.

Though I haven't been, I would think that the Halloween Parade is the must see :thumbsup2

Have a great time :Pinkbounc

One of our party took it upon himself to go shopping while we all hit the aprk. It took him less than 70 minutes to get there, do the hypermarket, get the train back, go to his hotel room and deposit it all and be stood waiting for us when we came off the tram tour.
