OH NO!!!!!

I'M BACK

...and I bet none of you even noticed I was gone!
SC was great...but I'm glad to be back home. My neices are all growing up and beautiful, my new nephew is spoiled and the "little man" he's 1 by the way, the city of Columbia continues to grow, and the Riverbanks Zoo and Botanical Gardens is DA BOMB!!!! I got in free so that was a DEFINITE plus. Had to go by myself and that was a bit of a disappointment, but I'm so glad I got to experience how much my home zoo has grown!!
I went to the gravesite where my mother and father are buried and where my sister's memorial grave is and it was so peaceful. I spent about 20 minutes there each day I went, which was 2. I just put my car tarp down on the ground, had a seat and just started talking. I know that they are not in the ground, but their spirit is with the Father, but it's the one place I can go to just "hang out" with them. Does this make any sense? Hope no one finds that strange.
Well, anyway, I'm glad I'm home and back on the DIS.

I understand completely. I feel very comforted when I visit my grandparents' graves, almost like when I was little and would visit them at their home. Even though they are in heaven, I think some of their spirit, energy, whatever, stays around and you can feel it in certain places.
