Oh No!! The Locusts are coming!!!

I dont know how many of you remember them, they only come out every 17 years but EWWW!!! They are huge bugs that come out in swarms and are very loud and they are coming out around the time we drive to WDW. UGH...these things on a windshield are not pretty. Lets hope they wont be as bad as predicted!!!

There were pretty bad 17 years ago in Northern Indiana. Just read over the weekend that they expect the epicenter of the whole swarm (from the Mississippi to the East Coast) to be in central/southern Indiana. Great news.

We have them here on Cape Cod too. They are huge and make an annoying humming noise. When my son was little he would line them up along a stick. I remember them hitting the windshield of the car.....not a pretty sight.

They are only around for 3weeks to a month. They come in one night and they leave in one night. Funny how that happens.
