Wow, you really need to chill out! There were no names, locations or specific dates posted. There are flights going in and out of Bagram everyday. Even if a terrorist is lurking on a DIS board, what's he going to going to do with the information that we have people coming and going to Afghanistan? They know that! Seriously, my father was in Air Force intelligence and worked in the office of Counter-terrorism at the CIA, and he's less paranoid than you are.

Better safe than sorry with OPSEC, IMO. The regulations are in place for a reason.

Prayers going out. Thankfully my son is home from his deployment there and most of his friends are back as well. Its very scary when your loved ones are deployed. I pray for our miltitary and their families every day.

OP hopefully this will die down soon. And maybe it will spur our government to bring all our people home sooner. I wish they all could leave NOW.

I will add him to the list. A cousin of a very dear friend of mine was critically injured a few days ago. It is very bad. They are flying him back to the states but not sure if he will make it.

Let just one person with the right connections view something remotely describing upcoming movement. I guarantee you if the person posting can be identified, he/she will be reported and the military member will be reprimanded. It happened to my husband. All I said was how unfair it seemed that businesses in port, including potential terrorists could see one of the navy ships coming, but let me call an ombudsman asking when and where a ship was porting and they would refuse me as if I was the terrorist. So, by posting that information on the internet (and I was identified because we were in a spouse chat room), my husband was given a nice little talking to. And my friend who agreed with me....her husband got the talk too. It is not a matter of being paranoid. It is a matter of following the rules of OPSEC.

Thank you all for your prayers. And thank you for the heads up on the rules and regulations. I had no idea about any of this! Hope everyone else also learned from my mistake. My post has been edited. You are all so wonderful!
