Oh no! Rain!

We're booked for next week, 9/2-9/6 and I just checked the weather today. It's supposed to rain every day. I'm so sad, the kids are so excited that I really hope the weather man has this one really really wrong.

It rains everyday in the summer in Florida, but it's usually not an all day rain, more like an hour or two.
Just take ponchos and carry on.

The rain days are some of our favourite. The rain often drives people back to their resorts, we just carry on with the ponchos and walk on most of the rides. The only time it has ever slowed us down was an AK day last year, where it was a such a downpour, we ate at the rainforest cafe in the pkg lot and waited it out.

I find the afternoon rain to be sort of refreshing. It "clears the air" and seems to cut down the humidity for the end of the day. We only had one trip where it rained all day every day (for 6 days to be exact). It was hurricane Faye...and like PP said, the benefit was the parks were empty! We braved them every day and had a great time!

Yup. This ^ It rained every afternoon we were there earlier this month. We just brought ponchos and soldiered on. It was actually kind of fun. There was only one day where the rain altered our plans and that was during a downpour while we were supposed to be strolling around World Showcase. We hopped on Maelstrom instead and then enjoyed some school bread at the Norway bakery. Didn't get to visit the other countries as much as I would of liked but we still had a blast. Bring your ponchos and if you are bringing a stroller don't forget something to cover that as well.

Trying not to worry to much, positive thinking, it will change!! We're taking the kids out of school so I'm hoping it's gorgeous weather.

You never know in florida, it was 50% chance yesterday and not a drop. And it is extremely rare that it lasts long when it does rain. Have fun, I wouldn't worry about the weather, disney is great in the rain or sun

It's Disney World!!!!!!!!! There certainly is not a better place to dance in the rain Make the best out of it!
