In posts before I have spoken about my DS9 (3rd grade) and his problems in school, especially with writing. The last book report he had was a nightmare for all of us and took the full month to complete as I had to work with him every step of the way. Today he came home with his newest assignment - a biography. Well, the GOOD news is that I have a kids version of a biography on Walt Disney! 
DS has to get the book approved and hopefully it will be ok. Maybe this one won't be so bad... One of the parts he is worried about is that he has to write it in first person and present it orally. The kids also have the option of dressing like their character and bringing props. DS is not one to bring attention to himself but if I was doing it I could come up with a few good ideas. Wish us luck - it's due 5/17.

) These book reports have been grueling! My son is in a private school ( the same one I attended) but I NEVER remember us doing over 2 book reports a year!
) and the latest one that's due 4/30 is decorating a can (coffee, etc.) with a puzzle
