Oh no my travel fan died.... suggestions for a new one... Please

So I have had this travel fan forever, and it died on our last trip... I have probably had it 10 years. Nothing fancy, just a small fan, 6 by 8 and it used batteries or I could plug it in. This little fan put out a quite a bit of air...it was like a mini box fan - and I must replace it.

I need/must have a travel fan, I have asthma and can not sleep or breathe well if the air is not moving. Even with some hotels having ceiling fans it helps, there is no guaranty that it will be working properly. So I just bring my own. Save's me some stress...

My requirements are pretty simple, 8x8 or even up to 10x10 would be okay. I need to be able to plug it or use it with just batteries. It needs to be able to sit on a flat surface....As well it needs to put out some air... not hurricane strength, but move the air.

Any suggestions are appreciated... Thanks so much

Have you tried a sound machine? Not an app-google sound machine on Amazon,and you'll see the classic white with a top swirl sound machine.Ours has been going strong for YEARS.Good luck-we understand the need!!!

I have this one in my office at work, have had it for years, and it's pretty powerful if you need a lot of air movement. 8x8x11 so not sure if the size would work for you.

Op here... Does it fold up?

Mine doesn't completely fold in half - it does however come apart in 2 pieces (fan & base) using the little knob.
