OH NO- My post count went DOWN!!!

Can anyone tell me what might have happened???
Yesterday I noticed that I was up over 800 posts, and now I´m down to 795!!!
Why????????

I don't if this has anything to do with it, but last week I cleaned out
and deleted all of my "cookies" from my hard drive, and my post count
went to zero

Which in the big scope of things is really no big deal, but it was strange.

Have you posted to any threads that were deleted recently? That would cause your count to go down.

That was my first thought. But if you're talking about a larger number of lost posts, then I doubt that you lost that many from a single deleted thread! That is very, very strange indeed!

Likely you've posted to a thread or threads that were deleted. You then lose the post count for the deleted thread. I heard that the porn thread was deleted--did you post to that thread?

I had a habit of posting on threads that disappeared, which is how I knew that the post count would then go down.

the reason your posts count went down is because a previous thread that you posted on was deleted. Therefore your posts that you posted in that thread was deleted too, like other posters in this thread have posted.
