Oh No! I Spilled My Food & Wine!!!! UPDATED 2/2!! Day TWO -

After our visit with Nemo & friends I took some pictures on the way out.
I love his big eyes.

P1010964.jpg

We have the smaller Nemo that talks and Alex used to "read" him stories. It would crack me up he would put Nemo's GIANT eyeballs up to the page and say "see tis see tis". :lmao:

Some more fun stuff!

Then we started to the other side of Future World. But we had to make a stop first!
P1010968.jpg

No we didn't stop here...

P1010969.jpg

But we did stop here :thumbsup2! !

I tricked Dave & Emilie into drinking the Beverly :rotfl:. But I wasn't quick enough to get a good picture of their faces.
Before...

After...he turned around on me!!

After our resfreshments we checked out the wait times for Test Track.

P1010982.jpg

Pop Pop, Emilie & I hopped in line. 20 minutes was reasonable wait. The others took the little ones inside to check out the cars.

Of course right after we got in line a CM came out and said they were having problems and the wait might be longer. So...we decided to stay in line & wait. I think we waited about 35 mintues total.
Here are a couple pics from TT

Ready to go!
P1010996.jpg

We met up with everyone else...now off to find some lunch!!!
Since we were on the East side of FW we headed toward the closest country Mexico!!

Well we did make a restroom stop
I took the kids potty at the baby care center.
FYI they have a water cooler in there...so I always bring our water bottle in and fill it up while I'm there :thumbsup2.

Now off toward Mexico to find some lunch & check out the Food & Wine Festival :woohoo:!!

Yes...and at MK too. It's funny they all get out of the car get out the stroller, backpacks, diaperbags, etc. Strap the kids in to walk to the end...then unpack the stroller the kids & fold up the stroller.

I refuse to do that! It's such a pain with a stroller. We always park in the AAA lot so we are close and just walk. We have never parked far enough that we had to take the tram unless the kids want to.

Even at MK the AAA lot is with the handicap parking. So you just have to walk under the little bridge to the TTC it's not too far...a good warm up for all the walking that is ahead for the day :lmao:!

Thats funny he thinks every orange fish is Nemo. Now my kids think every red car is Lighting McQueen and every truck is Mater! It makes driving interesting.
Have you all seen Mater's Tall Tales yet? Little man is watching it now. He highly recommends it :thumbsup2.

Hope to update the TR soon! :goodvibes

We used Diamond parking in the last disney year, but have stuck with the regular lot this one. We usually hit the TTC lot in the first couple of rows, so we're walkers a lot, too. (Unless we race!) It's too funny to watch others. I like the times we manage to beat the tram by walking. Tooooo funny!

We haven't seen that one yet. The boys have only recently gotten into Cars really. We've had the dvd forever, but they didn't care for it before, I guess. We'll check that one out!

Loved the new update!! I like your pics. :thumbsup2 "Reading" too Nemo is sooo adorable! What a cutie!!

Nifty about the water at the babycare center. I've only tried the one at MK back when I was still nursing Blake, but I didn't care of it. Too crowded and loud. I think I'll peak into the others now. That sounds a lot easier than waiting in line for water! :thumbsup2

Yeah...I don't remember if the other Babycare center's have the cooler or not.
The last time I went to the other ones I was nursing as well...so that was awhile back!
I would guess they have a water cooler too!
For some reason the one in Epcot is always on the way or close when we have to make a stop.
They don't have the automatic toilets in there...so the kids like that bathroom much better :thumbsup2

That is so cute about Alex reading to Nemo and showing him things! :lmao:

Sounds like a great day so far at Epcot! Great idea about the water cooler too. I can't recall if the others have one either...I'd imagine they do, for mixing formula, but who knows!

Yes it is nice to get there so quickly...although it always seems so much longer. My hubby is trying to move up in his job and we would have to move. I told him we should move only closer to Orlando...not farther!!!:lmao:

The Maze is what the kids like the most. Last year when we went I asked Emilie what was her favorite part of the trip. She told me swimming & the maze. No mention of Disney at all :rotfl:!
At least this year the answer was Disney related! :goodvibes

I hope your DH complies! Joe and I talk about moving to FL too. Not anytime soon, but years down the road. We want to check out Miami since it has it's own public transit (train) and that is necessary for us.

That is too funny about Emilie!

Aww thanks Alex is a little character sometimes. Now he is a little comedian. When he misbehaves I give him a warning or he will have to sit in the naughty chair. So now he answers back "Your going to sit in the naughty chair" and laughs. No thanks to my DH who laughs and encourages the matter.

This year Emilie liked BTMRR the best!
On our quick trip in December she begged to ride TOT. So I took her on. I thought for sure the "twilight zone" parts would scare her a bit. Nope not at all!

But the random drops upset her. I thought for sure she would like that part :confused3. During the last 3 drops she started crying and told me "We need to go to the hotel RIGHT NOW!"

Everyone was looking at us...they felt bad for her. She even sat next to a little girl her age and she wanted to go again :lmao:.

I think it might have been better if it wasn't at night. Now I tease her and tell her I can't wait to ride TOT again :rotfl2:.

I have never been to Miami. My friend grew up in that area and loves it!

Hi all! No I have not forgotten about my TR! I have been busy sewing up a storm trying to get my etsy store stocked up....

Hope to update this week!

I hope everyone is doing well...and not covered under snow :goodvibes.

Henry is a little comedian too - he has told me, on numerous occasions, to take a time-out and pointed to the "time-out mat".

We'll see what Henry thinks of ToT. I don't think he even realizes it's there because Joe doesn't usually ride it and so I often go while H is napping. This trip I'll go while the boys are in LMA. If he's tall enough for BTMRR (which he might be? What the height on that?) I'll see if he wants to try it....makes me nervous that he'll be bawling, but we'll see.

Hope all is good for you! No extra snow here the past couple days, but we did have ice! Thankfully it's melted. Hope you are enjoying your 80 degrees! :snooty:

Haha! I'm glad I'm not the only one with a comedian :lmao:.

For BTMRR & TOT it's 40".

No snow here in FL. I actually wish we could have some. I miss having snow days. My hubby & I would go sledding instead of work :cool1:!

I was gloomy & rainy...not sunny and 80. It was int he 70's so I guess i can't complain!

I just wanted to share something I have been working on. We love Toy Story around here! Jessie is one of Emilie's favorites!

So I was inspired to make a Jessie dress for her!

ok....off to work on the TR!

So we headed off to World Showcase. By now we are all very hungry.
Especially me…

I have to admit I was stalking the Food & Wine festival news from every blog, podcast & forum that I could find!

My first agenda was to find food for my husband. I could see he was starting to get grumpy.
He was not happy with the Mexico option…he doesn’t eat Mexican food. Honestly he is quite picky. Sometimes he drives me crazy with what he will and will not eat!

So around WS we go!

I see Norway ahead!
P1020001.jpg

I couldn’t resist! I marched the kids into the bakery and picked out a sweet pretzel & cloud berry horn (for the kids of course!).

We shared them and my husband was getting more irritable. He of all people (who eats ice cream for breakfast) is upset that we are snacking on sweets! I inform him I’m on vacation…and we might not get to come back this way later! We quickly finish up the sweets and onward we go!

My parents continued checking out the other F&W booths.

China is just up ahead and he decides to get counter service. I warn him it won’t be very good.
UJ, DH, and the kids get lunch there. They got sweet and sour chicken for the kids & orange chicken for the men. I was right. DH said it wasn’t very good. The kids hardly ate it…but oh well. I just tried my best to get the kids fed. I was saving my calories for better food up ahead!

While we are leaving China we see Mulan.
P1020003.jpg

P1020006.jpg

This is Jonathan’s 1st encounter with a character. He just loved her! Alex wouldn’t see her…he had no idea who she was!

So Emilie & Jon visited with Mulan. Jon just sat on her lap and she gave him a big smooch! He just loved the attention.
P1020010.jpg

Time to keep moving!
We meet up with my parents them just past China at the NEW South Korea booth. My mom is Korean….so this was a must do!

The kids are starting to get hot and tired! I promise them frozen lemonade from the stand just past the S Korea booth.

Emilie and I walk up to the SK booth and order my short rib & wine.
P1020011.jpg

The whole time in line Emilie is whining about getting a lemonade.

Emilie & I join the group at a table so I can try my food. Then everything goes downhill. DH runs over Emilie’s foot with the stroller. She is crying. The kids want their lemonade.

Ok I give up…I stroll over to the lemonade place. I order the drinks and set my untouched food on the counter. The CM hands me the lemonade. Of course they don’t have lids...Emilie tips the cup back and it pours all over her! So I whip around quick to help her and spill my wine all over my food her…everywhere!!!! The CM gave me some towels and we get it all cleaned up.

We go back and join my parents and I eat my wine covered food.
It was quite yummy!
Here is the picture I took before I spilled it!
P1020013.jpg

The kids seem to be better now that they are sucking down yummy frozen lemondade!

Now I really don’t want to leave Epcot yet! So we quickly try to get around the rest of WS.

We see another familiar face!
Snow White
Again Jon & Emilie visit with her. She asked who gave Jon the kiss. We told her it was Mulan… and she said “Oh you must be Shaun.” :goodvibes

Great dress!!!! I bet she gets oodles of compliments on it!

Sorry to hear about the fiasco getting food in the WS, but at least in the end your food was good and everything went alright. The big red lips kiss is adorable!! He'll make all the other princesses jealous. ;)

Hmmm.. I must've missed an update!

Love the Jessie dress. It's so cute!

Too bad about the frozen lemonade stress. I like that your food was still yummy covered in wine though! I keep saying we'll take a day and stroll around WS for the food. F&W would be perfect for that, huh? We didn't even go. :rotfl:

Lovin the character pics!!

Thanks...I'm trying to catch up on your TR!

F&W is so nice! I got to go back with my friend...and no kids!:cool1:
It was a nice relaxing moms day!!!
We got to eat everything we wanted...and explored every shop in WS.

You should plan to go this year!
