OH NO! Have to delay leaving for one day!

Our original checkin was supposed to be 6-9-06. But my kids are going to church camp and wont be back until 6-9, SO it puts us leaving a day later than we planned. They will be back about 7 or 8 pm and we plan on loading them straight into the car to head for WDW. Driving from Texas. Plan now to drive all night and arrive at WDW about noon the next day 6-10.

My question is : Do I call and cancel my original arrival date? Will they let me? Will it affect my ressies? HELP! Haven't done anything yet cuz dont want to make a mistake. Any advise appreciated.

We did something similiar and had no problem. We were originally booked for April 30 - May 5 at CR but when I went to purchase airfare back in Jan(or Feb?) I found it was cheaper to fly out on Monday to return Saturday so I bought the tickets, called the CR and changed my ressies to May 1 - May 6 with no problem. As long as they have availability for a later departure date you are OK. I would say to cancel the first day and move your trip "ahead" starting the following day. At worst, if they did not have availability for the new check-out day, you could switch resorts for the last day. Good luck
