OH NO!!! DS14 is sick----

Their band is supposed to perform before the Twins/Yankee game today and DS14 got sick last night (right before the homecoming dance too ). He was at a friends house for a pre-dance party and threw-up. He came home and fell asleep in about 30 seconds. Hopefully he was just overtired (this does happen to him if he doesn't get enough sleep). He feels better this morning so hopefully he can still go to the game. They get tickets to stay and what what will probably be the last game for the Twins in the Metrodome. He is a HUGE sports fan so this would just crush him if he couldn't go.

I am 1000% POSITIVE he was NOT drunk. They are freshman, the kids' parents were home, they are NOT kids that party/drink (they are a little bit on the nerdy side -these are the brainy kids in the class). DH picked him up after the parents called that he was sick. The mom is a teacher at the high school, they are pretty strict parents. There is no way he was drinking-besides we would have smelled the booze on him since he had vomit all over his shirt.

My 15 year old threw up this morning and is fast asleep.(And nope he's not drunk he was home last night) Has a fever. And I'm hoping NOT the flu. They have a full week of school and PSAT's on Saturday. So I am pumping full of OJ and zinc and hoping for the best.
Hoping your guy feels better. We will be watching the game. At least he's got a full day to try to recover right? the game isn't until 7 tonite.

That is what we are hoping. His color is good. He ate breakfast and is doing fine so far.

Java-the game is at 6:00 our time, they have to be at the high school by 3:00 to load the bus and the trailer to get to the Metrodome, warm up, etc. We are still trying to figure out how they will do their show-usually they use the football field markers to make sure they are where they are supposed to be throughout the show so who knows what they will do.
