Oh No! DH bought AP from WDW website...

We are DVC members and in the rush to buy AP's before the price increase last night, my husband purchased them through the WDW website and not DVC on-line, therefore, we did not get the DVC Annual Pass price! Do you think if I contact WDW or Member Services and provide my order and DVC member number, they will honor the DVC price and credit my charge card the difference? We purchased three Adult and one child's AP so the savings is several hundred dollars? Help please! Thanks for your input and Happy New Year to all.

I hope things work in your favor, but a more likely scenario is that you will end up with Premium AP's w/the DVC discount instead of regular AP's w/o the discount. Perhaps a call to your guide or MS will help. Good luck!!!

AP rates increased $18.25 today after being unchanged since last January.

Although our situation was different, my husband mistakenly renewed his AP rather than buy a new one. Our trips were some months apart so it made more sense to just buy a new one but as I usually take care of buying our passes he didn't hear me when I told him to buy a new one.

Anyway, I took his pass back to guest services and had no problem making the change. Of course, WDW got a little more cash but he got many more months.

DH was just trying to be helpful, but I know I should have purchased the passes myself I really hope Disney comes through for us, I figure the savings to be almost 400.00, which will sure go a long way for our trip Feb 20-26. I keep seeing folks talking about a $100 discount as a DVC member on an AP, it that per ticket purchased or just $100 off of the entire total.

Per ticket. It's a great deal. Even if we are only going for 5-6 days it makes more sense to buy the AP. Of course, then Disney gets more of our money since we feel almost obliged to make another trip down!!!

Hi everyone, I wanted to let you know how things worked out. Turns out they had already mailed the AP's my husband purchased. A castmember at Disney Ticketing was very helpful. She advised me to return the passes with a letter explaining the situation and they would switch them to the DVC passes, give me a credit for the difference in price and even honor the old DVC price prior to the increase! This made my day and reinforces my love for Disney. Thanks to all for your advice and support.
