Oh My! Please help MNSSHP problems

So I did not see this thread before buying my tickets. This morning, I bought 4 MNSSHP tickets and it gave me the option to print at home. It automatically linked them to MDE. We are staying for 5 days but only doing the party. We have no other park days planned and no other tickets. I made FP today and now I am not sure if I should keep these paper tickets, exchange them, or can we use our MB to get in? We are arriving just in time to change and get to MK at 4. I don't want to go to GS/will call to exchange these paper tickets if I don't have to. Thanks!

From what the text says on my tickets that I was able to print out, is that you do not have to go to will call if your paper ticket has the barcode. It is just like a hard copy ticket. That is why I only requested the tickets that did not print for a hard copy. I think you should be fine with out going to will call. If your paper tickets have that bar code.

Thank you. They do have the bar code.

The reason why they are no longer allowing the paper tickets is because they changed the scanners to the rfid (?) scanners that work with magic bands rather than the barcode ones they used to have.

That being said you should be able to show your paper ticket at the gates to get in and a CM should give you a wrist band.

I've got one paper ticket and one I had sent to my house but both have shown up on MDE show in theory are linked to my MB. Think we'll start seeing if paper tickets have been a problem on the boards from the 1st

Update: After consideration and constant worry about the lines at will call. I decided to call Disney and request hard copy tickets to have in hand at MNSSHP. Like I stated before, first set of tickets printed out fine, second set did not. The solution Disney offered was to cancel the first set of tickets, and re issue a hard copy to be sent out. I received a new confirmation number. I went on to check my DME and now only one set of tickets is linked to my DME. The first set. Before both nights were linked.

Now it does offer me the option to add tickets to my DME, but do I have to wait till the tickets are actually in hand to add them, because the confirmation number did not work? Does it matter if they are linked?
DME makes things so complicated sometimes. :confused3 Any help would be appreciated.

More confusion for you because I can't resist : :rotfl2:
DME=Disney Magical Express
MDE= My Disney Experience
;) Okay since I led you down this rabbit hole to begin with, WAIT until you have the tickets that are being sent to you. THEN add them to your MDE.

You should have them in hand soon. I got mine FedEx. Are they sending them that way to you ?

Yes, my acronyms suffer from extreme dyslexia. LOL:rotfl2::rotfl:

When I spoke to the CM this morning, she asked me what browser I had used to purchase my tickets. She was curious because she said, Safari and Firefox were the most common browsers that experienced glitches with their system. She said it didn't happen all the time. I guess that would be true, because I was able to print my first set and not the second.

Not quite the same, but we bought ours online for will call. They showed up on our MDE account as well even though I did not have the tickets nor an email print version. Sounds like they have yours setup similar to a "will call" setup.

My instructions were as the other poster indicated; "Bring my ID and the credit card used." I also used a gift card and a credit card, so I am taking both when I go to pickup the tickets.

The only slight difference was it said we could pick them up any day between then and the day of the party. I plan to pick ours up on a day before our party begins so I can figure everything out if there happened to be a problem.

I chose print at home tickets and got a confirmation email with no link. They automatically linked to MDE so I made fastpass selections for 4-7. Realized later I needed some kind of ticket. Called disney and a really nice lady offered to mail hard tickets. Cool. When she reassigned the ticket number I lost all my fast passes. Had to link the hard tickets to MDE and start over.
