Oh my! Le Cellier all booked already??

I called today on my 180th day to make ADR's for leCellier... they were BOOKED all day, except for 11:30 am (too early for me - Princess Breakfast!)! Will more seats open up for the Candlelight Processional packages?

I called to make mine too. I was a day late and didn't realize that CP was that night. they only had a 9:30 and that's too late. I may have to rearrange my days already. Now....., to go search for CP date list so I can avoid those days in Epcot!

I think I have heard that they do put aside some tables for CP packages. I've heard (not confirmed) that these will go on sale Aug 15th. Once that happens I bet you'll see more tables open for the packages and as people move their current ADR's to CP packages "regular" tables will open as well.

I have a 7pm ADR for 12/10 but I will be cancelling it if I can get a CP package that night instead.

I called today and got adrs for le cellier for 12/8 and 12/13 for 4:50. They had nothing else.

It could be a combination of things.

Le Cellier is very popular.

Some tables are being held for the CP package folks.

I've also heard, but haven't confirmed, that Le Cellier holds back some tables for the true 180 day mark the way CRT does. Not 100% sure on that one but if you didn't get it at 180 days from check in, try again at the true 180 mark.

Also, Candlelight Processional is held every single night from the Friday after Thanksgiving through December 30 so there's no way to avoid it if you are going in December.

Also, any ADR you make now cannot be converted into a CP package ADR. You'll have to call and book the package and then also cancel your regular ADR.

Those of you hoping for cancellations once the packages go on sale, call all day on that day and the next couple of days. You never know when someone will book the package and cancel their regular ADR they made.

I called today and didn't have any problem. I could've choosen a 7:00PM seating on 12/8 or 12/10 or a 6:30 seating on 12/9. I took the 12/9. There were lots of 4:30ish times on all of these days. I didn't even call until 3:00PM this afternoon and today is my 180. I just gave the CM the 8th, 9th, & 10th and had them check the times for each of those nights, then I choose the best time. I was only booking a table for 4. Maybe that is the different between us and others who posted. The size of your table makes all of the difference of what time you can get. I don't even know if I'm taking this trip in December (it will be our 5th this year). I figured it was better to get my ADRs and decide later if we are going to cancel this one. Since the DDP is suppose to change in 2008, I figured I better eat one last time at the big ones because not sure if the new DDP for 2008 will fit into our plans. I had no problem choosing a time for Coral Reef and Kona Cafe.

Thanks, I will definately keep checking. I do need a table for 5, so maybe that's part of the problem.

I called today too and made my reservations (for 12 of us) on Sat., 12/15 at 8:00pm. I didn't have a problem, but it's probably cause it's such a late reservation! We're doing the Good Morning Gathering Breakfast that morning (it doesn't start until 9:00am), so that time works for us! Maybe I'll see some of you there!

We have it for Dec 14th at 6:20 pm. I wanted 7pm, she said she had 8:50 (YIKES to late for us) and then she said she had 6:20. We will have 2 tables for 6 people (?). She said normally for 6 people they place you at 2 tables, oh well

Today was my 180 day mark. Called this morning for LeCellier - table for 2. Only availability on 12/9 was 4:20 or 7:20 (took the 4:20 p.m. - now not so sure) and on 12/13 only had 7:20 available - which I took.

WOW!! I was there for free dining last year and got LeCellier at less than 4 months out with better times than these.

I booked Le Cellier for hubby and I at our 180 day (+10) mark and had no problem. I'm not sure of the time, think it is something like 4:50 pm, but that's what we wanted. And, if we can get a CP dinner package seating once those come out, we'll be canceling that ADR anyway.

Btw, our ADR is for Thursday, Nov. 29.

I agree - I think the party size has everything to do with the problems. This is our first time booking a party of 6 as my BIL and SIL are joining us - and this was our first time to not get the exact times we wanted at our 180+10 mark. I think 2's and 4's should not have a problem....

I called again just now, and they did have an 8:30 time available, but that's too late for my kiddos, or they could split our party at 7.... not feasable with 3 little ones! I'll keep callin'!

I'm not going in Dec. (Oct.) and wasn't able to get anything for Le Cellier other than lunch. I was told by my TA that I would probably have difficulties due to the fact that I only needed a table for 2, and they don't have many tables for 2. I guess it stands to reason if they are so busy they can fill a table of 4 with 4 people they don't want to give it up for only 2 people.
